Pins

Four kinds of pin, one sheet

A pin is not just a marker. It is the anchor everything else attaches to: the task, the photos, the materials claimed against it, the certificate that proves it works.

  • Task pins — the work itself, with status, trade, assignee and custom fields
  • RFI pins — a question raised against the exact location it concerns
  • Site instruction pins — an instruction evidenced where it applies
  • Area portal pins — jump from a site plan into a building, floor or comms room

Annotations

Mark up the sheet, not a printout

Notes and markups live on the drawing for everyone who opens it. No more photographing a marked-up print and hoping the person who needs it can read your handwriting.
