Graftix

Update

Help for cause and effect, and a product emails switch

New

  • The help centre has a full Cause & Effect section, with articles for the web app and Graftix Go, plus new guides to commissioning readiness, files and storage, BMS, the as-built record, partners and limited access, sharing a task, project transfer and Lookup.
  • Help centre search now matches keywords as well as article titles.
  • Profile: a "Product updates and tips" switch for product emails, kept separate from your service notifications.

Improved

  • Partners working across a campus can open a building's page, task list and drawings, within the systems they cover.
  • New devices pinned on a drawing by hand appear in the asset register straight away.

Fixed

  • Partners with limited access can open drawings on the web.
  • "Mark all as read" is no longer hidden under the close button, and the plan viewer's zoom readout no longer covers "Set scale".
  • Your organisation's own device types show their icon on the web.

Graftix

Major update

GPS trackers for plant, vans and lone workers

See where your plant, vans, tools and lone workers are, project by project, in Graftix.

New

  • Add Echo Thirteen IoT trackers to your organisation: the Magnet Tracker for plant, containers and vans, the Operative Tracker for people, and the Mini Asset Tracker for tools and small plant.
  • Assign a tracker to a project for a period. People on the project see only their projects' trackers, and only the history from while it was theirs.
  • Project geofences record arrivals and departures, and ask the right person a question when something needs a decision, such as confirming an off-hire.
  • The Operative Tracker's SOS button raises a Graftix SOS alert. Tampering, movement out of hours and SOS on plant alert the tracker's managers.
  • Play back any day on a timeline that shows moving, stopped, gaps and alarms. A journey card describes the day in words and names your own project sites.
  • Trackers appear on the Projects globe, coloured by status.

Good to know

  • Trackers are included for every organisation. Positions are kept for 90 days.

Graftix Live

Update

Release completed work to your client's as-built record

New

  • For admins and project managers: release completed tasks to your client's as-built record in Graftix Live, from the task panel, from the bulk selection bar, or area by area from the Client Share tab. Automatic release is there too, off until you turn it on.
  • Released items are marked on the drawing, with a filter to show them.
  • Tag photos as As-built to include them, on the web and in Graftix Go, even with no signal.
  • Released cause and effect matrices appear from their latest issued revision, with witness results from sealed sign-off sheets only.
  • Connected AI assistants can release items and withdraw them.

Good to know

  • The as-built record is free. Live status remains the paid part, and sharing a project no longer starts a Live trial on its own.

Graftix Live

Major update

The as-built record

Every shared building now carries a free, permanent record of the work your installer has completed, on the drawings you already use.

New

  • Completed items your installer releases, such as each camera, door and detector, appear on the plans as pins with their trade's icon.
  • Tap an item to see what it is, where it is, when it was completed, its make, model and serial, and its as-built photos. Report a fault from the same place.
  • Cause and effect: when your installer releases a matrix, an item shows what it sets off and what sets it off, from the latest issued revision with its witness test results, drawn on the plan.
  • An As-built record register under Assets, with CSV export.

Improved

  • A monitored item shows its device's live status on the same pin, so nothing is drawn twice.
  • Sites and plans show how many as-built items they hold.
  • Access control is drawn as a door, and fire alarm call points as a bell.

Good to know

  • The as-built record is free. A project shared for its record alone needs no licence and shows no licence notices. Live status remains the paid part.

Graftix Go

Update

Cause and effect on site

New

  • A device's Testing tab shows "When this operates" and "What sets this off", one line per link, with the full sentence a tap away.
  • More → Cause and effect lists the building's matrices as plain sentences, with its witness test rounds and sign-off sheets.
  • "What does this set off?" on the drawing, as on the web.
  • Record witness tests on the phone with or without signal. Drafts survive the app being closed, and late passes show in amber.
  • Add photo and video evidence, with sound, to a witness test.
  • Raise a sign-off sheet on the phone and collect finger signatures or refusals, even offline. The sheet seals when the last answer arrives.

Improved

  • Cause and effect comes with the project when you download it for offline use.
  • Signing out names any witness tests and signatures still waiting to send.

Graftix

Major update

Cause & Effect

Design, issue, test and hand over cause and effect for the whole building, in one place.

New

  • A Cause & Effect matrix on every project: causes against effects, grouped by trade and system, linked to the zones, loops, systems and devices you already have. Fill squares with timed steps, modes and the interface they cross, or fill a rule floor by floor.
  • Built-in checks, worst first, and every link written out as a plain-English sentence. Set company and project rules in Settings.
  • Issue lettered revisions with change control and a full history. Export to PDF, Excel and CSV, with interface schedules per partner. Import from Excel or start from a template.
  • Send an issued revision to an outside reviewer by link. They need no account, can comment on any square and return a review code.
  • From any device on the drawing, "What does this set off?" and "What sets this off?" draw the answer over the plan.
  • Record what each panel was programmed with, then prove it in witnessed test rounds on a phone or tablet, with timed steps, photos and snags raised on a failure. "Passed, late" is its own result.
  • Sign-off sheets, signed on the device or by emailed link, and commissioning readiness for each system.
  • Reports on coverage and on the impact of a failed panel or interface, a handover pack for the building, and a cause and effect section in the O&M manual.
  • Dave and connected AI assistants can read cause and effect and suggest changes for a person to accept. Partners with limited access see their own part.

Graftix

Update

Place existing tasks on the drawing

New

  • Tap a spot on a drawing and choose Existing task to place a task that isn't on a drawing yet, with search and filters. It works in Graftix Go too, even with no signal.

Improved

  • Lookup finds a device by the MAC, serial, part number or outlet typed on its task as soon as it is saved. Values typed from the label are no longer overwritten by blank readings from ExtremeCloud IQ.
  • Timesheet PDFs and CSVs show local times and every note and task in full.
  • In Graftix Go, the task button uses your own status names, and engineers can move a task on from a renamed approval stage.
  • In Graftix Go, pinch or double-tap to zoom into photos, including while you mark them up.

Fixed

  • The text tool on drawings sizes text exactly as it previews, at any zoom, and text boxes grow to fit.
  • Serial numbers with hyphens are found in Lookup.
  • Cancelling a Dave add-on now ends only that add-on.
  • Security improvements.

Graftix

Update

Share a task with anyone

New

  • Share a single task by link with someone who has no Graftix account. They can read it, see the drawing around its pin and its photos, comment and send photos back. You're notified when they reply, and photos they send wait for a member to accept them.

Improved

  • Task reports draw the same pins as the plan viewer, in your organisation's own status names and colours.
  • Notification settings, and your organisation's defaults, are grouped into sections, and every notification now has its own switch. SOS shows as always on.
  • For admins: any admin can edit company details, logos, the brand colour and Director seats, not only the person who created the organisation.
  • The trial countdown banner only appears in the last 30 days of a trial.
  • A shared graftix.app link now shows the Graftix logo in its preview.

Graftix

Major update

Partners and limited access

Bring subcontractors into your projects and show them only the systems they install.

New

  • Partners & access on a project's Team tab: add a partner company with the trades, and optionally device types, it installs, and narrow individual people further. A campus's scope covers its sites.
  • People with limited access see only the tasks, drawings, pins, devices and asset register entries in their systems, with a shorter sidebar to match.
  • "Visible to" on drawings, markup, RFIs, site instructions and builders' work requests: internal, everyone on site, or chosen systems. Existing records stay internal until you choose otherwise.
  • When you invite someone from the Team page, choose the systems they see on their projects.
  • BMS is now a trade, with eleven standard device types such as controllers, sensors, valves and meters. Add your own product ranges as your own device types.
  • Graftix Go follows the same rules, so a partner sees only the screens and actions that apply to them, and their offline download completes.

Good to know

  • Admins and organisation-wide project managers are never limited, and nothing changes until a manager sets a scope.

Graftix Live

Update

Share by system, and wired devices through ExtremeCloud IQ

New

  • Narrow a client share to chosen systems, and device types within them. Your client then sees only those devices, plans, certificates and alerts.
  • Share a campus with its sites, including sites you add later.
  • For managers: give wired devices that aren't Extreme hardware, such as BMS controllers and meters, a live status by adding their VLAN to the ExtremeCloud IQ card. Choose how often to check, from 15 minutes to 7 days. No extra hardware is needed on site.
  • Each VLAN shows how many devices are found, not seen yet, dropped off or missing from the register, with Test and Poll now.

Fixed

  • Access points synced from ExtremeCloud IQ no longer show as offline in the task panel between syncs.

Graftix Live

Update

Kenaez cameras and remote desktop

Link your Graftix Live projects to Kenaez, and open its live view and remote desktop from Graftix.

New

  • For admins: connect your Kenaez account in Organisation settings.
  • Link a project to a Kenaez site, or create one from it, from the project's Live Connectors tab.
  • Cameras in a linked project and its Site Areas are added to Kenaez automatically, with their location on the drawing.
  • Live view on linked cameras, and Remote desktop on site PCs, open Kenaez in a new tab.

Graftix

Update

Project transfer, a new Site Feed layout and a fuller help centre

New

  • Project transfer: on request, we can move a project and its Site Areas to another organisation, for example when a job changes hands.
  • The Site Feed lays posts out in columns on wide screens, and photos open full size.
  • Select tasks on the Tasks page and generate a report on just those, even across a campus's Site Areas.
  • The help centre now has real screenshots in every article, a full Graftix Go guide, and Graftix Live guides for installers and their clients.
  • Contact support from the help centre whether or not you're signed in, and get replies by email.

Improved

  • The field app is now called Graftix Go on your home screen and throughout the app, from the next app update.
  • Connected AI assistants can switch between your organisations properly, and can tell which actions only read data, so they ask you to confirm less often.

Fixed

  • New sign-ups receive their first email code, and creating an organisation no longer fails.
  • An organisation whose trial or subscription has lapsed can still reach Subscribe and Manage billing.
  • The "Today's pace" chart on the project overview stays inside its card.
  • Archived sites no longer appear on Live Monitoring.

Graftix Live

Update

Kenaez live view and remote desktop

Cameras and computers linked to Kenaez now open straight from Graftix Live.

New

  • A Live view link on linked cameras, from the device panel and from the plan's device list. It opens in Kenaez in a new tab.
  • Site pages list the projects linked to Kenaez, with their camera counts.
  • For installers: Remote desktop links on linked PCs and workstations.
  • Where a CCTV system is not linked yet, one quiet line explains what live view and AI analytics add, and lets you ask your installer about it.

Improved

  • PCs and workstations have their own icon, and recorders are no longer drawn as cameras.
  • The message box grows as you type, so a longer message can be read back in full.

Graftix Live

Update

Better links, easier install

Improved

  • A link to graftix.live now shows a proper preview card when shared by email, in chat or on social media.
  • Adding graftix.live to a phone or computer now shows screenshots and a description before you install.
  • A "What is Graftix Live?" link on the sign-in screen.

Graftix Live

Update

Share with your clients, and manage licences

New

  • A Client Share tab on every Live project. Share all plans or chosen ones with your client by email, set each plan's system type, choose whether devices and IP addresses are shown and who pays, and add a message.
  • Manage each share: edit, pause and resume, invite more people, revoke, or preview it as your client sees it in Graftix Live.
  • Messages with your client, and Client reports for the faults they raise: change the status, add a note, create a task or view it on the plan.
  • A Licences tab on every Live project shows its status, trial, licences and device count. Admins can buy licences by card, change the number with the charge shown first, or ask us for more.
  • Billing lists your Graftix Live projects with their licence status and next renewal or expiry.

Improved

  • On the Projects globe, a coloured ring shows each site's Graftix Live health, and Site Areas with their own location get their own pin, so a campus shows each building. Tap a pin for a card that opens the project or Live.
  • Project settings has "Site location & geofence" for pinning each building.

Fixed

  • A device the Graftix Live agent cannot reach is no longer shown as online. It raises an alarm after three missed checks.

Graftix Live

Major update

Licences and billing

Graftix Live licences for every shared project, managed in one place.

New

  • Settings → Billing lists every shared project by site: who provides its licences, trial days left, the renewal or expiry date, and who can add more.
  • Where your organisation pays, customer admins can buy licences by card, change how many they have with any charge shown before confirming, manage their billing details, or ask us about larger quantities.
  • The rest of your team sees the same page, read-only.
  • A slim banner when a project's licences have run out, when it has more devices than licences, or when its trial is in the last seven days.

Improved

  • A device without a licence shows a padlock and "Licence required" instead of an unknown status. It keeps its place on the plan, and its panel says who can add licences.

Fixed

  • Site cards no longer make the page wider than the screen on phones.

Graftix Live

Update

Campus map, buildings and tags

Large sites now read building by building, on the map and everywhere else.

New

  • A pin per building on the overview map. A campus folds into one marker with its building count, and the buildings separate as you zoom in.
  • Pins take the colour of their worst status, and pulse for open alarms or anything offline.
  • Choose a campus to see its buildings from above. Each building opens a card with its installer, health, alarms, plans and systems.
  • The site list opens out into each site's buildings, in step with the map.
  • A site page can narrow to one building, with its own plans, health, assets, faults and activity, and a switcher between buildings.
  • The asset register filters by building area, and shows the area in its CSV export.
  • For installers: project tags, with a tag filter on the map and lists.

Improved

  • Ask Dave's starter questions now come from your own sites.
  • Map motion is toned down when reduced motion is turned on.

Graftix Live

Major release

Graftix Live 2

graftix.live rebuilt from the ground up, in the same design as Graftix.

New

  • A globe of every site shared with you, flying in to each one.
  • Site pages with plans grouped by installer and by system.
  • A new plan viewer built for real drawings: sharp at any zoom, and quick on large sheets.
  • A device panel with status, uptime, history, make, model and serial.
  • An events timeline, the asset register, messages with your installers, and fault reports pinned to the plan.
  • Ask Dave, the AI assistant, for plain-English answers about your sites.
  • Settings for your profile, your own team, shares, alerts and billing, and for connecting your own AI assistant over MCP.
  • An organisation switcher for anyone in more than one organisation, on desktop and phone.
  • Organisation logos and your Graftix profile photo throughout.
  • For installers: every project in your organisation, seen the way your client sees it.

Fixed

  • Plans that failed to show now load.
  • No more white strip beside a plan in dark mode.

Graftix

Major update

Toolbox Talks and Permits to Work

Two new Safety modules, in the web app and in Graftix Go.

New

  • Toolbox Talks: build a talk by hand, from your library, from a RAMS or chosen sections of one, from an incident, or with Dave.
  • Give a talk in person with a pass-the-phone sign-in sheet, send it for people to read and sign on their own phone or browser, or both. Signing works without signal.
  • Record a talk and Dave writes up what was said. Each talk produces a sealed PDF record, and the register exports by project, date, topic or person.
  • Permits to Work: set up permit types and appoint Authorised Persons for each project. Checks run before a permit is issued, such as in-date qualifications, signed RAMS and plant examinations, and any override is recorded.
  • A live countdown and reminders before a permit expires, fire watch for hot works, and "suspend all" when an alarm sounds.
  • Track site keys with each permit, see an Authorised Person's board and usage reports, and see permits on Plant Track and the drawings.

Improved

  • Drawn signatures, and signing a RAMS as part of the toolbox talk that briefs it.
  • Dave and connected AI assistants can work with talks and permits.

Graftix Live

Update

Sign in with your Graftix account

One account for Graftix and Graftix Live, without ever leaving graftix.live.

New

  • Sign in on graftix.live with your Graftix email and password, or with a code sent by email.
  • A code for each new device, password reset, and "trust this device for 30 days".
  • A Degraded (amber) device status, between online and offline.

Improved

  • Security tightened throughout sign-in and the portal.
  • Plans load faster on return visits, and are cleared from the device when you sign out.
  • A proper page-not-found screen.

Fixed

  • The app icon now shows when graftix.live is added to a home screen.

Graftix

Update

Circuit schematics, risers and panel cards

New

  • Choose each circuit's layout: radial, star, ring or loop. The drawing shows the run as it is wired, starting from a sensible default for the trade.
  • A live schematic on every circuit, in the circuit's colour and your branding. Choose the fields each device is labelled with, zoom, download it, and make any device a spur off another.
  • Export circuits to PDF: schematic, device schedule, latest test result, drawings with the run over the pins, and close-up maps. A1, A3 or A4, marked Preliminary, For construction or As installed, singly or as a pack.
  • Riser view: every circuit in the project on one drawing, floor by floor.
  • Exports move the revision letter on when a circuit has changed, with revision clouds on what changed.
  • Panel cards: an A5 card for inside the enclosure, a zone chart for fire alarm loops, with a QR code to the live circuit. A full schedule export to CSV.

Improved

  • Engineers can create and edit circuits. Deleting one stays with admins and project managers.
  • In Graftix Go, create a circuit from a device on the drawing, edit it, see its run lines, schematic and riser, and export PDFs.
  • Asset Register: filter by Scope and Sub-category, and see only columns that hold data, with IP, MAC, serial, part number and data port first.

Graftix

Update

SOS, chat and notifications that reach the right people

Improved

  • SOS alerts reach the project team, admins, project managers, supervisors and anyone checked in on site, or the whole organisation if that is nobody. They always come through, whatever your quiet hours or notification settings in Graftix.
  • In Graftix Go, SOS sends your location, is never left waiting in a queue, and tells you exactly who was alerted. An incoming SOS fills the screen with Acknowledge, Open in Maps and Call 999.
  • You're told when you're assigned tasks however the change was made, with one notification for a batch. You're no longer notified about your own changes.
  • Managers and the task's creator are told when a task is sent for approval or completed. Project managers hear when a site instruction or variation is issued, and admins and project managers when a new drawing is uploaded.
  • @mentions reach only the person you mean, and have their own switch.
  • Team broadcasts reach the admins and project managers on the project when you tick them, and say who sent them and where.
  • Chat works properly between the web and Graftix Go: photos, locations, task links and sender names show, conversations stay live, and each chat can be muted. Chat no longer fills your notifications inbox.
  • In Graftix Go, every notification opens the right screen, the app badge matches your unread count, and notification settings list every type, grouped.

Graftix Go

Update

More of your work on the phone

New

  • Create an account, set up your company or accept an invitation in the app, and delete your account from Profile.
  • More → Forms: fill in the permits, inspections and other forms assigned to you, and finish on the web if you like.
  • Site surveys: see the surveys booked to you, start them, capture points with or without a drawing, and submit them to the office.
  • For admins and project managers: upload drawings and new revisions from the phone, from Files or a photo, even with no signal.
  • Raise RFIs, site instructions and builders' work requests without a drawing, with dates from a calendar and photos.
  • Request material, and claim whole quantities from the project's material pool.

Improved

  • RAMS open on the phone, can be read offline and signed.
  • Dave's answers are laid out for a phone, tables included, changes come with Confirm and Cancel buttons, and you can send a photo.
  • Lookup searches live when you have signal and lists the project's devices, falling back to the copy on your phone without it.
  • Incident reports ask for location, actions taken and injury details, in your own time zone.
  • Each screen only offers what your role can do.

Fixed

  • Assigning a task, clearing a field and choosing a phase now save.
  • Datasheets, qualification card photos and RAMS documents open on the phone.
  • Checking in to a MEWP without an IPAF card on file asks you to confirm, instead of silently not recording it.

Graftix Go

Major update

Dependable on weak signal

A big update to Graftix Go for the places on site where signal is weakest.

Improved

  • Changes are kept safely on the phone when signal is weak or missing, then sent in order when it returns, never twice.
  • Photos are resized, kept on the phone and uploaded in the background with progress on each one. They are only removed once safely received.
  • Download for offline now brings everything: tasks with their activity, photos, test forms and drawings. If a download stops part-way, the project card says so.
  • An offline drawing is only replaced once the newer copy has fully downloaded, and a drawing still processing shows its progress.
  • Attendance works with no signal and records the time you actually tapped. Breaks, tasks worked on and the check-out reminder now work.
  • Test readings saved on weak signal are never lost, and show "On this phone, will sync" until they are sent.
  • Signing out tells you about anything not yet sent, and lets you keep it.
  • A new look that matches the web app, with one consistent header and larger buttons for gloved hands. On iPad, Graftix Go works like the phone, with more cards side by side.

Graftix

Update

A new sign-in

New

  • A new sign-in for the web app and Graftix Go: your email and password, or a one-time code sent to your email.
  • Create an account with a code sent to your email, and reset your password the same way.
  • Signing in with your password on a new device asks for a 6-digit code from your email. Tick "Trust this device" to skip it there for 30 days.

Improved

  • Signing up with an email that already has an account sends you a sign-in code instead of nothing.
  • A team signing up together on one site network is no longer held back.
  • The sign-in page is calmer and sits in the middle of the screen.

Good to know

  • Your existing email and password still work.

Graftix

Update

Pins that follow re-issued drawings

New

  • When a new revision moves, rescales or rotates the plan on its sheet, Graftix lines it up with the last one and moves your pins, RFIs, site instructions, builders' work requests, markup and scale with it. Clear moves apply straight away with Undo, and anything less certain asks you to check.
  • Align by hand over the previous revision, and Compare with previous shows the two lined up.
  • For managers: archive the tasks a new revision leaves out. They leave the drawing without being deleted, are listed by the revision that dropped them, and can be restored.
  • View an earlier revision with its tasks where they were.
  • Connected AI assistants can raise and update RAID log items.

Improved

  • Scope, device, people and time filters sit in one Filters menu, and revisions in a menu under the plan title, leaving more room for the drawing.
  • RFI, site instruction and builders' work pins scale with zoom like task pins.

Fixed

  • Reports no longer print "No plan location" for pinned tasks, and large reports generate much faster.
  • Rolling a drawing back keeps its thumbnail and its image in reports.

September 2026

Graftix

Update

Sign-out, plan viewer and programme fixes

Improved

  • Plan viewer: hints and banners no longer push the drawing down as you click, so pins land where you aim.
  • Counting symbols keeps the boxes you've drawn when you go back to fix a label, and you can mark a symbol "Not on this sheet".
  • Programme: the chart always shows weeks ahead, so unscheduled tasks can be dragged on, and a new bar is sized from the task's estimate.
  • Bulk edit can set Floor / Level and programme dates, and the table no longer jumps when you tick the first box.
  • A stamping run that leaves the material pool short offers to open the pool.
  • Pages check for changes when you reopen them, so a pin moved on another device or a RAMS just signed shows straight away.

Fixed

  • Signing out now always signs you out, whichever screen you use.
  • A link to a pin on page 2 or 3 of a drawing opens that page, and switching pages no longer crashes the viewer.
  • A title changed from the plan panel updates straight away, and moved pins stay where you put them.
  • Completed tasks record when they were completed, so completion reports are filled in.
  • Tasks given a device type in bulk now appear in the Asset Register and commissioning.
  • Your client's proposal page shows its title and Accept button clearly on light brand colours.

Graftix

Update

Help for every module, and updated policies

New

  • Nine new help centre sections: Service & Maintenance, Surveys & Bid, Testing & Certification, Workforce, Site Inductions, the Vault, Reports & Dashboards, Graftix Live and Day to Day.

Improved

  • The meeting recorder reminds you to tell everyone present before you start.

Good to know

  • Our Privacy Notice, Terms, AI Policy and Fair Use Policy are updated to describe everything Graftix does today, including Journal voice recordings and transcripts, working time records and monitored device data.

Graftix

Major update

Operations for service and maintenance

Run reactive callouts, one-off works and planned maintenance alongside your projects, now included for every organisation.

New

  • Customers, their sites and contacts, and jobs with visits. Today shows the day by engineer, and the job register filters every job. Engineers see their own jobs.
  • Plan and assign visits, then take each one through to completion with an outcome and sign-off.
  • A dispatch board of engineers by day: drag a visit to move it, or drag an unplanned job on to book it. A map shows your customer sites by today's visits and open jobs.
  • Customer assets with service history, printable QR labels that open the asset when scanned, and planned maintenance that raises jobs when they fall due.
  • Quotes and invoices: email a branded PDF with a link where your customer can accept or decline. An accepted quote raises its job, and issued invoices export for Xero.
  • Timesheets fill in from completed visits. The office approves each week and exports for payroll.
  • Your customer can be told when a visit is booked or moved, when the engineer sets off and when the visit is finished.
  • Stock: a parts catalogue, a store and a van for each engineer. Parts used on a job flow into its invoice.

Improved

  • Link a customer site to the delivery project you installed, and import its installed assets. The project's Asset Register shows when each item was last serviced and when it is next due.

Good to know

  • Operations is in the sidebar when All Projects is selected. Every module, Operations included, is part of every plan from the first day of a trial.

Graftix Live

Update

Safer, steadier ExtremeCloud IQ syncing

Improved

  • A pin only links to an ExtremeCloud IQ device once its name is complete, so an unfinished title can't be matched to the wrong device.
  • The serial scanned from the device label now comes first when matching.
  • A device's serial can belong to only one item in a project.
  • If a device name can't be sent to ExtremeCloud IQ, the task says so.
  • The connection recovers by itself after a temporary sign-in problem, and a refusal on one feature no longer stops the whole connection.
  • The connection card explains clearly when the connection needs attention.
  • Syncing is steadier on large sites.

Graftix

Update

Faster, steadier and more secure

New

  • An Install Graftix button on your Profile in browsers that support it, and shortcuts to Tasks, Plans and Attendance from the installed app.
  • A Pricing link on the sign-in page.

Improved

  • The web app starts faster on phones.
  • A brief connection or server problem no longer signs you out, and after an update the app reloads itself instead of showing a blank screen.
  • Lists that fail to load offer Retry instead of saying there is nothing there.
  • You can pinch to zoom the web app on phones.
  • Chat unread counts are exact, and deleted messages no longer count as unread.
  • Connected AI assistants show when their connection expires, and you're emailed a week before it needs renewing.
  • Dave says plainly when it can't do something and how to get help.
  • In Graftix Go: requests on poor wifi stop waiting and are saved to send later, notification taps open the right screen, and a problem on one screen no longer takes down the app.
  • Security improvements.

Fixed

  • Files: uploads are no longer refused as out of space.

Graftix

Update

A Tasks page built for big campuses

Improved

  • The Tasks page loads much faster on large projects and scrolls smoothly through thousands of tasks.
  • On a campus, the site summary and Site Areas sections fold away with a one-line summary, and remember how you left them.
  • Site Area chips list selected ones first, then A to Z, with a box to find one by name, and "Show all" brings every site back.
  • The page scrolls as a whole, with search, filters and New Task kept at the top.
  • The page remembers whether you last used the board, list or register.
  • Empty board columns shrink to a narrow strip until you need them.
  • The toolbar shows when the list was last updated, with a refresh button.

Update

Lookup finds any device from one detail

New

  • Lookup, under Overview: type the one detail you have, such as a serial, MAC or IP address, outlet reference or name, and get the device with its location. Type a switch and port to see what is connected to it.
  • Each result shows how your search was read and why it matched, with the full total beside the rows.
  • Snag lists: online with no outlet recorded, online with no port recorded, not seen in 24 hours, never online, and no serial recorded.
  • Connection points use each trade's own words: switch, port and outlet for data, panel, address and loop for fire, and so on.
  • Show on the plan, and CSV export.
  • For engineers: Lookup in Graftix Go works with no signal, from the project saved on your phone.

Improved

  • Devices recorded by hand now appear in the register, not only those reported by a connection.
  • Field names typed slightly differently, such as "Data Port" and "Data Port:", are read as the same field, so outlet references aren't missed.

Fixed

  • Serial numbers made only of digits are now found.

Graftix

Update

Fixes and polish

Improved

  • Graftix starts faster on every device, with far less to load before your first screen appears.
  • Connectors: AI tools connected to Graftix can now page through every task on a large project, and filter by plan or by title.
  • Emails from Graftix now show the Graftix logo, with a version that suits dark mail apps.
  • The Value at Risk card on a project's Overview only appears when a variation actually puts money at risk.

Fixed

  • Projected completion dates no longer jump years ahead on projects where most work is completed without a site check-in.
  • Tapping a notification now opens the task, RFI, builders work request or broadcast it is about, instead of a "page not found" screen. That screen is also readable in dark mode now.
  • People invited to an organisation can open the page to accept, and the invitation now shows the inviting organisation's logo.
  • Security improvements.

Graftix

Update

Files, and crews for your team

New

  • Files, under Personal: My Files for your own documents, Project for everyone on the job, and Company for the whole organisation. Create folders, drag files in, restore anything from the bin, and see how much storage your organisation is using.
  • For admins and project managers: Groups on the Team page. Organise people into crews, such as Second Fix or Testers, and choose who manages each one.

Improved

  • Team lists now show the people you work alongside, rather than everyone in the company. Admins still see everyone.
  • Personal details, such as home address and next of kin, are shown to the people who manage that person. Whoever runs the site can still check qualifications, cards and RAMS sign-offs.
  • Supervisors can now add custom fields to tasks.
  • When you invite a project manager, project access now starts at selected projects. Choosing every project is still one click.

Good to know

  • Giving a project manager a parent project does not include its site areas. Tick the site areas they need as well.

Update

Builders work, circuits and testing in the app

New

  • Builders work requests: drop them on plans, see them in a list, change their status, and add comments and photos, online or offline.
  • RFIs now have comments and attachments in the app. Answers sent in through the recipient's link are labelled, so you can tell them apart.
  • Circuits: each device shows its circuit as a numbered chip on the plan. Open a circuit to see its run in order, reorder it with up and down arrows, and long-press devices to add them.
  • Testing: fill in test forms on a task, and record circuit and loop readings from the circuit screen. Forms download with your project, so they work offline.
  • Share a branded PDF report for any task, RFI, site instruction or builders work request from the top bar.
  • Plan filters by person and time: show only the pins someone changed, or what changed today, in the last 24 hours or in the last 7 days.

Fixed

  • RFIs, site instructions and builders work requests now appear on plans in the app.
  • Plans on Android no longer stay blank, and downloading a plan for offline use is much faster.

Good to know

  • Some of these changes need Graftix Go 1.1.0. Update the app when your store offers it.

Graftix

Major update

Testing, certificates and O&M manuals

Record tests against the devices you install, issue certificates from the results, and hand over a complete O&M manual.

New

  • A Testing tab on tasks, in the web app and in Graftix Go. Readings calculate as you type, warn when a value is out of range, and gather failed checks into a defects summary. A test can be marked complete once every required check is answered, and any defect can raise a remedial task pinned to the same spot on the drawing.
  • Built-in test forms for fire alarm, electrical, access control, intruder alarm, CCTV, security, audio visual, access points and portable appliance testing. Readings that belong to a whole circuit or loop are recorded on the circuit itself.
  • For admins and project managers: Test Forms, under Organisation, to adopt a form, create a new version of it, and see only the forms for the trades your project uses.
  • A certificate builder: gather the tested devices (it shows what has not been tested, too), add your declaration and issue. Each certificate gets a sequential reference, a sealed PDF and a QR code that opens a public verification page.
  • Compliance shows which buildings hold the certificates they need and which do not, with renewal reminders before and after the due date, and printable QR labels for your devices. Commissioning progress for each system is worked out from the test results rather than typed in.
  • Handover O&M manuals: choose the sections, include drawings, data sheets and certificates as full documents with a contents page, and add the warranty, specification and handover declaration. Anything missing is listed, not quietly left out.

Good to know

  • Certificates cover fire alarm, emergency lighting, intruder alarm, access control, CCTV, data cabling and portable appliance testing. Some built-in forms carry a review note, and the issuing engineer remains responsible for the test and the certificate.
  • Where an organisation has ExtremeCloud IQ connected, access point tests can fill in device details from it.

Graftix

Major update

Circuits

See which devices share a cable, and what else is on the run when you isolate something.

New

  • Circuits for every project: group devices into circuits, loops or chains fed from a board or panel, and see the run in wiring order. A circuit can cross site areas.
  • Build a run by tapping devices on the plan in order. Each pin shows a numbered chip in its circuit's colour.
  • Auto-sequence suggests an order for you to check, starting from the board and walking the drawing. Nothing changes until you save it.
  • Draw the run: show each circuit as a cable route on the plan. A run that continues on another sheet says where it goes, rather than drawing a line to nowhere.
  • The task register shows each task's circuits, filters by circuit, and exports a circuit schedule as CSV.
  • For admins and project managers: use your own words for circuits, loops and chains, and set a device count that warns when a run gets long.

Graftix

Major update

Builders work requests, and RFIs you can answer by link

Two kinds of request that leave your organisation can now be answered without anyone needing a Graftix account.

New

  • Builders work requests: a new pin type on plans, with status, priority, due date, an assignee or a named builder, photos and comments. Each project has its own Builders Work list.
  • Send to builder: a private link that opens the request, a crop of the drawing around the pin and its photos. The builder can comment, add photos and mark the work complete, and you are notified. Send several requests at once and the builder gets one link with a job list.
  • One-tap pin reports: a branded PDF for any task, RFI, site instruction or builders work request, with a zoomed map, photos, history and the full drawing. Builders work packs carry a QR code on each request, so the builder can update it straight from the paper.
  • Plan filters by person and time: show only the pins someone changed, or what changed today, in the last 24 hours or since a date.
  • RFIs now have a discussion thread. Managers are told when an RFI is raised, whoever raised it is told when it is answered, and overdue RFIs are chased automatically.
  • RFI answer links: the recipient reads the question with a crop of the drawing, attaches a mark-up and replies, with no account. The link stays open until you close the RFI, and several RFIs can go in one link.

Improved

  • RFI exports now show where on the drawing the question is, include the discussion, and carry the answer link while the RFI is open.

Graftix

Major update

Purchasing that fits how you work

New

  • For admins and project managers: Purchasing settings in Organisation Settings. Choose which statuses count as done, whether completing a task installs its materials, whether the On Site stage is used, whether photos are needed to confirm kit on site, whether engineers can claim materials, and what each stage is called.
  • Bulk lines now track units at each stage, so a 500-unit line can read "120 installed, 200 on site". Confirming kit on site or installed asks how many.
  • For admins and project managers: Repair statuses on the parent Purchasing view shows every proposed correction before you apply it.

Improved

  • Completing a task marks the materials it claimed as installed, whichever way it was completed, including bulk edits, Dave, connectors and custom statuses. Reopening the task undoes it.
  • Kit only shows as On Site once someone confirms it on site. Stock arriving at the compound shows as In Compound.
  • Receiving a purchase order now moves its materials to delivered. The same material from a pool and from a purchase order shows as two supply lines.
  • Purchasing totals now include every site on estates with more than two levels.

Fixed

  • Pool figures now add up, and Remaining no longer shows negative numbers.

Graftix Live

Update

Live status in Graftix Go, and steadier ExtremeCloud IQ syncing

New

  • Plans in Graftix Go now show the same Live halo as the web app: a soft pulsing ring behind a task pin, green when its linked device is live, amber when degraded and red when offline.

Fixed

  • ExtremeCloud IQ syncing now retries a failed page and recovers by itself after a temporary error. You no longer need to regenerate your API key to get it going again.

Graftix Go

Major update

Whole projects offline, and better plans

A downloaded project now keeps every day-to-day feature working with no signal.

New

  • Downloaded projects now include the programme, incidents, RAMS, plant, materials and task photos, as well as tasks and plans.
  • Work you do offline shows straight away and syncs when you are back online, including blockers, dependencies, chat messages, attendance and plant check-ins.
  • Plans: filter pins by scope and by device type, and see site areas coloured by progress on parent plans. Swiping between plans is smoother, and Back returns you to the plans list.

Improved

  • Downloaded projects refresh by themselves when you get signal back, and when you open the app.
  • Pins shrink when you zoom out, so the drawing stays readable, and the blurry plan stays on screen while sharper tiles load.
  • The keyboard no longer covers what you are typing, and custom fields can be edited with a single tap.
  • Pin colours now catch up quickly when a status is changed on the web.

Fixed

  • Downloading a project no longer makes the app slow or frozen, and affected installs recover without reinstalling. Selecting several projects now downloads all of them, plans included.
  • You stay signed in when you open the app offline.

Graftix

Major update

RAMS rebuilt, a board-ready report, and symbol take-off

Improved

  • Dave writes RAMS again, in the background, with a timer while you wait. Content is written for UK sites, and if Dave cannot help, you start from a starter template for your trade instead of a blank page.
  • RAMS now cover first aid, emergency arrangements, COSHH, plant and equipment, competent persons, monitoring and review, welfare, legislation and document control, with residual risk scored for every hazard.

New

  • Branded RAMS PDFs in your organisation's colours, with a draft preview while you work. Assign a RAMS for review, and sign-offs, drawn or typed, appear on the PDF people download.
  • Amend a signed RAMS as a new version. Everyone assigned is asked to sign again, and the PDF keeps a record of each amendment and who signed it.
  • Dave can read RAMS you upload, so you can ask questions about them, and Regenerate with Dave turns an uploaded RAMS into one you can edit.
  • Highlight Report (Landscape) in Reports: a three-page, branded board pack with headline figures, progress, the programme, every site, commercial, risk and safety cards, and a summary from Dave.
  • AI symbol take-off now counts for you: box one real symbol on a CAD-exported drawing and Graftix finds every matching one, at any angle. Save symbols to your organisation's library to reuse them.

Graftix

Major update

Operatives and site inductions

Know who is on your sites, and get new starters inducted before they arrive.

New

  • For admins and project managers: Operatives, under Organisation. A register of your whole workforce, including people who never sign in to Graftix, with qualifications, expiry dates, RAMS sign-offs and a status for each person. Admins can invite anyone to the full app when they need it.
  • Export a branded profile for any operative, with their contact details, qualifications and evidence, and RAMS sign-offs.
  • Qualification types: a built-in list plus your own. Managers can add qualifications on someone's behalf, and a Quals Expiring tile on the dashboard shows what has expired or runs out in the next 90 days.
  • For admins and project managers: Inductions, under Safety. Build an induction from content, images and media, questions with a pass mark, personal details, qualification uploads, RAMS to sign and documents to acknowledge, then publish it to a project with a link and a printable QR poster.
  • New starters scan the poster, confirm their email and work through the induction step by step on their phone. They can stop and pick up later from an emailed link, and completed inductions arrive in your pending queue for approval.

Improved

  • Project managers, including those limited to selected projects, can now use attendance, purchasing, suppliers, plans, bids, plant, invitations, contacts and the calendar without being turned away.
  • A project created by a project manager now appears in their own project list straight away.
  • Security improvements.

Graftix

Major update

Site Feed and Journal

New

  • Site Feed for every project: task status changes and photos become posts automatically, and anyone on the project can post a highlight with photos. React with like, celebrate, clap or fire, and comment.
  • On a parent project, Site Feed shows every site area. Open a photo and tap Go to task to jump to it on the plan.
  • You are notified when someone reacts to or comments on your post.
  • Journal, under Personal: notes and meeting minutes with folders, pinned notes, checklists and a Recently Deleted folder. Share a note so colleagues can edit it with you.
  • Attach photos and tasks to a note. Each task shows its status, a mini-map of where it is pinned and its photos.
  • Record a meeting with a live transcript where your browser supports it, then ask Dave for minutes, a summary or a list of actions. Dave adds his writing below yours and never replaces it.
  • Export any note as a branded PDF.

Graftix

Update

Works better on phones

Improved

  • Dialogs and pop-ups now fit on a phone screen, and long forms scroll inside them instead of pushing buttons off the edge.
  • Tabs that do not fit can be swiped, and toolbars wrap onto a new line.
  • Group info in Chat and the eForm builder's properties now slide over the page on phones. eForm fields can be dragged and resized by touch.
  • The Programme and dense charts can be panned with a finger on phones.

Fixed

  • Signatures now land exactly under your finger or pen.
  • Opening Graftix just after an update no longer shows a blank or slow screen. If you are offline, you see a branded page that retries by itself.

Graftix

Major update

Site Command and Ask Dave

The top of every project's Overview now tells you how the site is doing and what needs attention.

New

  • A completion ring with a projected completion date and this week's pace, plus today's completions, what is due today and overdue, and a 14-day trend.
  • Attention cards for blockers (with value at risk and hours blocked), RFIs awaiting a response, open snags and certificates expiring. Each one opens its register.
  • A site labour chart: the labour your programme needs, the labour on site from check-ins, and how many people are completing tasks.
  • Ask Dave buttons on the cards where an explanation helps, including progress, today's pace, labour, blockers, the programme snapshot, Task Flow and Project Health. Dave opens already talking about the numbers on the card.
  • Dock Dave as a sidebar on desktop and drag it to the width you want. His answers are no longer cut short, and he always knows today's date.

Improved

  • One dashboard per level: Dashboard for your organisation, and the Overview tab for each project. Completion figures now agree everywhere, Dave included.
  • Site Areas is now a grid of cards you can sort by name, completion, open tasks, blockers or schedule. Archived sites and projects no longer appear on active pages or count in totals, and stay available under Projects → Archived.

Graftix

Major update

Bid, proposals and site surveys

From the first survey to a won job, in one place.

New

  • For admins and project managers: a Bid tab on tender projects. Design the system as pins with device types, equipment and labour, and Graftix builds the commercial picture: man-days, an equipment schedule, materials and a pricing build-up to a tender total.
  • Turn the equipment schedule into a draft take-off in one click, and set the tender total as the contract value.
  • Proposals: generate a full draft from your design, edit every section, add your own, and download a branded PDF. Ask Dave to refine any section, and nothing changes until you accept it.
  • Send a proposal to your client as a private link. See when it was viewed, let the client accept online, and get notified when they do.
  • Mark a bid as won and the project goes live with the design as its programme, or mark it as lost and it is archived with your reason. Invite a colleague to work on the bid with you.
  • Site Surveys: book a survey from the project Overview with an engineer, date and brief. The engineer captures existing and proposed points on the plans, or without drawings, with photos and notes, then submits, and you can generate a survey report.

Graftix

Major update

Contacts and Calendar

New

  • For admins and project managers: Contacts, a personal address book with search, categories and favourites. Import from CSV, and export to CSV or vCard to put contacts on your phone.
  • Calendar for everyone, with month and agenda views. Your booked surveys and task due dates appear alongside your events.
  • Admins and project managers can create meetings, site walks and instructions, and invite team members and outside guests from Contacts. Team members accept or decline in Graftix, and outside guests get an email with a calendar invite, plus updates if it changes or is cancelled.
  • Reminders before an event starts.
  • Subscribe to your Graftix calendar from Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar with a private link from your profile. You can reset the link at any time.

Graftix

Update

A fresh look, and faster everywhere

Improved

  • A refreshed look: smoother animations, up to three notifications stacked at once, and a clearer highlight on the page you are on.
  • Faster loading, a quicker first open, a quicker return after the app has been idle, and no second restart after an update.
  • One calm dark launch screen with the new Graftix logo, and crisp app icons.
  • Wide screens: pages now fill ultrawide monitors and show more cards per row. On the Tasks board, the scrollbar stays at the bottom of the screen and each column scrolls on its own.
  • The sidebar is grouped into Overview, Project, Personal, Safety, Compliance and Organisation.

Good to know

  • Graftix now opens in dark mode. If you prefer light, switch once with the theme toggle and it stays that way.

Graftix Live

Update

Easier probe setup, and live status on plans

New

  • Live status on plan pins: a soft pulsing halo behind a task pin when a monitored device is linked to it, green when live, amber when degraded and red when offline. Tasks with no device look exactly as before.
  • A live device strip on the project dashboard, showing how many devices are online, degraded, offline and matched to tasks.

Improved

  • The Probes page now explains what a probe does and what you need before you start. A probe does not have to run on the machine it watches: one Linux machine or Raspberry Pi that can reach your kit covers the whole site.
  • Install commands for Linux and Raspberry Pi now explain what went wrong, such as a blocked port or a failed download, instead of failing silently.
  • The Windows installer works on standard Windows servers and runs the probe in the background from start-up. It downloads everything before pairing, so a failed download no longer uses up your pairing code.

Graftix Go

Update

Dependable photos and notifications

New

  • A delete button in the photo viewer. Deleted photos can be restored for 24 hours.
  • Remove a photo that is still waiting to upload.
  • Filter tasks by device type.

Fixed

  • Push notifications from Graftix now arrive in Graftix Go.
  • Photos taken on site no longer go missing on their way to the web app, and photos stuck on a phone are retried automatically.
  • Custom fields added by connected systems no longer count towards your limit, and the limit now matches the web app.
  • A change that had already synced is no longer reported as failed. If your sign-in has expired, the app tells you to sign in to sync, and nothing is lost.

Graftix

Update

Plans your way, and photos that always load

New

  • Plan appearance: choose a paper, dimmed, inverted or blueprint sheet, and set brightness and warmth. Your choice follows you to every plan on every device, and pin colours never change.
  • Undo for deleted files: task photos and attachments on incidents, RFIs, site instructions and plant can be restored for 24 hours from a countdown card on the task.
  • Site areas now have their own Site Progress donut and live activity feed on their Overview.

Improved

  • In dark mode, the space around a plan is dark too.
  • Zooming and panning a plan no longer flashes white: a soft version of the drawing stays on screen while the sharp tiles load.

Fixed

  • Photos taken on iPhones now show in every browser and in reports.
  • Photos that would not load in the web app now load. If one ever cannot, it says why.
  • Plans with a newer version always show the current drawing.

Graftix

Update

Clearer notifications, a complete audit log, and dependable sign-out

Improved

  • Notifications have a new look and sit at the bottom centre on desktop, with a close button you can always see.
  • Status changes now name the new status. You get a confirmation when you change one, your colleagues see who changed it, and you are told when a task is assigned to you. You only see changes from the project you are in and its site areas.
  • For admins: the audit log now records every change, including changes made by connected AI tools. Paging and export are more reliable, and the page no longer crashes.
  • Offline: data downloaded with Sync all data is now used when you are offline, and unsent changes stay with the person and organisation that made them.

Fixed

  • Signing out now keeps you signed out, and switching organisation sticks, on desktop and on phones.
  • Notifications about colleagues' changes show names and task titles again.
  • People who signed in before accepting their invitation can now see their organisation's projects.
  • Security improvements.

Good to know

  • All Graftix data is held in the UK, so sign-up no longer asks you to choose a region.

Graftix

Major update

Device types, and progress you can trust

New

  • Project Settings → Systems: choose which trades a project uses. Site areas follow their parent.
  • Device types under each trade, such as Access Point under Data Networking or Smoke Detector under Fire Alarm, with your own types too. Set one when you create a task or drop a pin, or for many tasks at once. Stamped and duplicated pins keep it.
  • Filter by device type on the Tasks page, in the task register and on the plan. Connected AI tools can filter by trade and device type too.
  • A Progress by Device Type card at the top of the Overview, and Overview charts that switch between Status, Scope and Device Type.
  • Reports can add a device type column, group sections by scope or device type, and show a progress table on the cover.

Improved

  • Completion figures now count what is complete now, including your custom statuses, so the headline, donut, tiles and report cover agree.
  • All Projects dashboard: a project only shows as Blocked when work has actually stopped, 7-day completions count every completion, and Task Flow includes your custom statuses.
  • One progress colour scale across plan area pins, the Live Estate grid, Site Areas and the globe view. Red now means blocked, not just started.

Fixed

  • The Estate Progress donut no longer redraws itself every few seconds, and its details are readable in dark mode.

Graftix Live

Update

A new home for graftix.live

Improved

  • graftix.live moved to new hosting, with a leaner, faster build.

Graftix

Major update

Reports rebuilt, with your branding

Reports now finish reliably and look like documents you would hand to a client.

New

  • Add a wide logo and a brand colour in Organisation Settings. They appear on reports, purchase orders and RFI exports.

Improved

  • Reports finish reliably, even with lots of photos, and appear in the list straight away.
  • A new layout: a cover showing the project and who prepared it, the report's author, a header on every page and page numbers in the footer.
  • Plan pages show pins in their status colours, sharper mini-maps with numbered pins that open the drawing, a phase column and the completion figure. Every task is listed, and drawings follow the same order as your Plans page.
  • The date range now finds tasks modified in that period, including new comments and photos, and includes the last day you pick.

Fixed

  • No more blank pages, plan images now appear, and trade names such as CCTV are written correctly.
  • Logos now appear on purchase order, plant and incident PDFs.

Graftix

Major update

Estate dashboards, Performance and team broadcasts

New

  • The Overview of a parent project now shows the whole estate: Estate Progress for today, 7 days, 30 days or all time, compared with the period before, a Live Estate grid of site areas with their progress, and a live activity feed. The programme snapshot includes every site area.
  • For admins and project managers: a Performance page with a team leaderboard, throughput and burn-up charts, site rankings and a daily highlight card from Dave. Choose the card's tone in Organisation Settings.
  • Team broadcasts: admins and project managers can message everyone on a project, or chosen roles, and see recent broadcasts.
  • Focus mode in the plan viewer on desktop: collapse the header and task panel in one click to give the drawing the whole screen.

Improved

  • The All Projects dashboard has a larger status donut with the total task count in the middle, a tidier legend with percentages, and a better-balanced layout.
  • Custom statuses and types can be reordered in Organisation Settings, and now work properly in bulk edits, kanban columns, filters, CSV exports, task history and progress widgets.
  • Returning users go straight into the app without waiting on a loading screen.

Fixed

  • Switching organisation from the sidebar now works on phones.

Graftix Go

Update

Programme and team broadcasts

New

  • A Programme screen: a Gantt view of the project with dates that stay in view as you scroll, Week, Month and Quarter zoom, milestones and a today line.
  • For admins and project managers: send a team broadcast to everyone on a project, or chosen roles, and see recent broadcasts.
  • Connectors: connect your own AI assistant to Graftix from your profile, with access tokens you can create and revoke.

Improved

  • Task progress summaries use your organisation's status names.
  • Syncing a project is gentler on a weak signal and more reliable.

Graftix Live

First release

The first graftix.live

Where it started: the installer's drawings, live, in the client's hands.

New

  • Your shared projects, floor by floor.
  • A floor viewer with live device status, refreshing every 30 seconds.
  • An asset register that shows when it was last updated.

Graftix

Update

End-to-end encryption for the Vault

Vault entries can now be end-to-end encrypted, so only you and the people you give access can read them.

New

  • Set a vault passphrase to switch on end-to-end encryption. Unlock your vault once per session, then reveal secrets with your PIN as before.
  • Move all your existing entries across in one go, or one at a time with Rotate Secret. Everyone who already had access keeps it.
  • For owners: create a recovery kit, a file protected by its own passphrase. For admins: use it to restore access for a team member who has forgotten their passphrase.
  • For admins: a Vault audit log shows who did what, and when.

Improved

  • Security improvements.

Good to know

  • A team member needs to set up their own passphrase before you can share an entry with them.
  • Keep your passphrase and recovery kit safe. Without them, encrypted entries can't be recovered.

Graftix

Update

Materials marked installed when a task is completed

New

  • When you mark a task as completed, the materials claimed on it are marked as installed for you. This works from the task panel, the task board and the plan viewer.
  • If some of those materials aren't installed yet, Graftix asks you to confirm first and tells you how many will be updated.
  • A message then lists what was recorded as installed, with a View Materials button that takes you to the task's materials.
  • For engineers: Graftix Go asks the same question and lists the items installed.

Improved

  • When stock arrives, the matching project materials update their status.

Fixed

  • Delivered items from a material pool showing the wrong status.

Graftix

Update

Better PDF and CSV reports

New

  • Add full-size plan pages to a PDF report. Each plan with pinned tasks gets a landscape page with numbered pins and a legend of task numbers, titles and statuses.

Improved

  • Reports use your organisation's own status names, colours and task types.
  • Custom fields now appear in detailed PDF reports and as extra columns in CSV exports.
  • Summary reports grouped by trade list tasks with no trade under "Unassigned", at the end.
  • Reports are more dependable. An interrupted report retries by itself, and one that can't finish ends with a clear message and a notification instead of spinning forever.
  • If a report email can't be delivered, you get a notification so you can download the report from Reports instead.

Fixed

  • Pins on report mini-maps appearing in mirrored positions, and blank pages at the end of some reports.

Graftix Go

Update

Clear screens for tasks you can't open

Improved

  • Opening a task you don't have access to, for example from a notification, shows a clear "You don't have access to this task" screen with a way back.
  • Opening a task that has been deleted shows "This task no longer exists" instead of a blank screen.

Fixed

  • Project managers limited to certain projects can now see the full details of tasks in those projects' site areas.

Graftix

Update

Branded eForms and sign-in fixes

New

  • A push notification when another organisation invites you, and a welcome when you're added to one.

Improved

  • eForms you share outside your organisation show your logo in the header, on phones as well as larger screens.

Fixed

  • Signing up on phones, where the sign-up check sometimes failed to load.
  • The organisation picker reappearing part way through a session. Graftix now remembers the organisation you last chose.
  • Graftix slowing down or freezing the browser on some Windows laptops and tablets.
  • Plan thumbnails and photos not loading for people in more than one organisation, and project managers limited to certain projects not seeing every tab of tasks in their site areas.
  • Map backgrounds not showing, and stock arrival emails not being sent.

Graftix Live

Update

ExtremeCloud IQ device names follow your tasks

New

  • By arrangement: device names in ExtremeCloud IQ can follow your tasks. Rename a task that's matched to a device and Graftix renames the device in ExtremeCloud IQ.
  • If a rename still hasn't worked after several tries, the device card shows "Rename failed" and the task's activity feed explains why.

Improved

  • Devices can also be matched by MAC address, and by serial numbers captured with the barcode scanner.
  • Network details from ExtremeCloud IQ, such as switch and port, sit in their own section on the task.

Fixed

  • ExtremeCloud IQ devices missing from site counts on the Live overview, and their status flickering between online and offline between syncs.

Good to know

  • Need to connect another system? The Connectors tab tells you how to ask us.

Graftix

Update

More custom fields and overlay fixes

Improved

  • Tasks can now hold up to 25 custom fields, up from 10.
  • Plans with an overlay use less memory, so long sessions stay smooth.

Fixed

  • Overlay plans cut off along the bottom, or shown at the wrong size when the two drawings differ in size.
  • Microsoft Edge crashing while resizing an overlay on some Windows tablets.
  • A sign-in problem affecting some organisations.

Graftix Go

Update

Numbered routes and new plan versions

New

  • Draw numbered routes on plans with the Numbered Route tool. Tap to place each point and they're numbered in order.
  • A banner tells you when a newer version of the plan you're looking at has been uploaded. Tap Update to load it.

Improved

  • On multi-page drawings, pins show only on the page they were placed on.

Fixed

  • Some links to a plan, such as from a notification, not opening the plan.

Graftix

Update

Continue routes and project access for managers

New

  • Continue a numbered route from where it ends. Right-click the route, or long-press it on a touch screen, and choose Continue route. The numbering carries on.
  • For admins: when you invite a project manager or change their role, choose their Project Access: the whole organisation, or only the projects you pick.

Improved

  • Security improvements.

Graftix

Major update

Plan versions

Upload revised drawings as new versions of the same plan, and keep all your pins, tasks and markups.

New

  • Upload New Version from any plan. Add a revision label (suggested from the file name), a status such as For Construction, For Information or Preliminary, and an optional reason for change.
  • Tasks, RFIs, site instructions and markups carry over to the new version. If the drawing's size or shape has changed, carried-over pins are flagged for review.
  • Review flagged pins against the previous version with Compare, then confirm or move them one at a time or all at once. Pins keep working while you review.
  • Version history shows every revision, who uploaded it and when. Older versions are marked Superseded, and you can make any of them current again without deleting anything.
  • Project members get a notification when a new version is uploaded, including the reason for change.
  • Take-offs warn you when the plan has been updated since the count was made.

Graftix

Update

Line up overlay plans

New

  • Line up an overlay plan with the base plan by hand. Move, rotate and resize it, then lock it in place.
  • Stretch an overlay along one side only, with a live percentage beside your pointer as you drag.
  • The alignment is saved with the plan, and anyone else viewing it sees the change straight away.
  • Hide the plan legend on desktop when it's in the way. Graftix remembers your choice.

Improved

  • Overlay detail loads faster as you zoom in and out.

Graftix Live

Update

Easy agent install and more probes per site

New

  • Install the Graftix Live agent from the Probes tab. Download it for Linux (including ARM devices) or Windows, or copy a one-line install command with the pairing code already filled in. The instructions are also available as a text file.
  • Add several named probes to a site, rename them, and pair each one separately.
  • Each probe shows a live heartbeat (green, amber when stale, red with how long it has been offline), the devices it monitors and its agent version, with "Update available" when there's a newer one. The Probes tab shows a badge when a probe is offline.
  • Reset a probe's pairing to move it to new hardware, keeping its devices and history. Clear unused probe slots in one go.
  • A Connectors tab on each Live site, where you now set up ExtremeCloud IQ. A site area can have its own connection or share its parent project's.

Improved

  • When adding a device, pick its Monitoring Source: one of your probes or an ExtremeCloud IQ connection. Device cards show which connector a device comes from.
  • The floor plan uses the full screen height with the device list alongside, and sites are listed alphabetically.

Graftix

Update

Sharper large drawings and pins on the right page

New

  • On multi-page PDFs, tasks, RFIs and site instructions now stay on the page they were placed on.

Improved

  • Large drawings such as A0 and A1 keep their full detail when you zoom right in.
  • You can open a plan while it's still being prepared. The overview appears first, the plan card shows "Preparing…", and finer detail follows as it's ready.
  • Processing a large plan no longer slows the rest of Graftix down.

Fixed

  • The stamp tool and a few other features not working for some organisations.

Good to know

  • Plan files can be up to 150 MB, and PDFs up to 50 pages.

Graftix

Update

Take photos on any device with a camera

New

  • Camera buttons now work on any device with a camera, including Windows tablets and laptops such as Surface Pro. Choose Take photo with the rear or front camera, or Choose from files.
  • Photos are taken from a live preview, with a button to flip between cameras. This works for tasks, Dave, chat, plant and materials.

Improved

  • Offline sync now downloads each task's photos, blockers, materials and other details, so they open without a connection.

Fixed

  • Changes made offline sometimes reverting after you reconnected or refreshed, and pin colours not updating when you changed a status offline.
  • Long-press menus on plan pins and in the programme closing as soon as they opened on Android. This is fixed in Graftix Go too.

Graftix Go

Update

Offline work you can rely on

New

  • Photos taken offline are kept safe and upload when you're back online, with a "Queued" badge until then. Failed uploads appear in the sync panel with a retry.
  • Incidents, RFIs and site instructions filed offline show "Pending sync", or "Failed to sync" with Retry, at the top of their lists. RFIs and site instructions also show as faint pins on the plan until they sync.
  • RFI and Site Instruction lists in the More tab.
  • A banner on a task tells you when you're offline and when it was last synced.

Improved

  • Syncing a project now downloads each task's details, photos and activity too, so they open offline. The progress bar shows "Task details" while this runs.
  • Comments, chat messages and incident photos added offline stay put and reach everyone once you reconnect.
  • Logging out asks you to confirm, warns you about changes not yet synced, and clears downloaded data from the device. Switching organisation shows only that organisation's data, and the notification badge stays accurate.

Graftix Go

Update

A faster, steadier app

New

  • Filter the task list by scope when a project covers more than one trade.

Improved

  • Moving between tabs is quicker, chats and notifications refresh as soon as you open them, and buttons respond straight away when the app first opens.
  • The plan viewer stays quick on plans with lots of pins, including after status changes.
  • Sync All downloads up to three projects at a time, can be cancelled, and no longer crashes on very large organisations.
  • Zoom in further on plans, up to 20 times.

Fixed

  • Crashes when stamping, moving a pin or switching annotation mode, markups not showing on iPhone, and grey squares on plans viewed online.

Graftix Go

Update

Quicker ways around your plans

New

  • Tap Plans to go straight to the plans for the project you're working on. Attend opens with the same project selected.
  • Change a task's status from the plan panel, and the pin changes colour straight away.
  • Swipe left or right from the edge of a plan to move to the next or previous plan in the folder.
  • Double-tap to zoom in, and again to zoom out. Plans now glide to a stop when you let go.
  • Tap the status and type counts above your task list to filter it.

Improved

  • Downloaded plans stay sharp one zoom level further, and a "Partial sync" label shows if a download didn't finish.
  • Timesheet exports have proper date pickers and open your share sheet, and the Analytics view and team exports on the Attend tab now work.

Graftix

Update

Barcode scanning, account deletion and policies

New

  • Scan a barcode on a device label to fill in a task's custom fields. Common codes such as serial number, part number, MAC address and description get friendly names, and you choose which to keep. This works in Graftix Go too.
  • Delete your account from your Profile page, in Graftix or Graftix Go. You confirm with your email address and are warned about any organisation where you're the only admin.
  • Our AI Policy sets out how Dave can be used and how your data is handled. It's linked from the sign-in page, Help and the Dave panel.
  • Help & Docs, the Privacy Notice, Terms and the Fair Use Policy are linked from the sign-in page and can be read without signing in.
  • A new "Your privacy controls" help article, and clearer detail on how location is used for attendance, photos, chat and SOS.

Improved

  • Dave can read photos taken on iPhone, and tells you clearly if an image can't be used.

Fixed

  • Signing out sometimes signed you straight back in.

Graftix Live

Update

ExtremeCloud IQ connector

New

  • For admins and project managers: connect a project to your ExtremeCloud IQ account. Graftix keeps it in sync, or syncs straight away when you ask.
  • Graftix matches the devices in your ExtremeCloud IQ account to your installation tasks by hostname or serial number, and adds each device's hostname, serial number, MAC address, model and IP address to the task.
  • When a matched device connects, its open or in-progress installation task moves to pending approval, ready for a site manager to check. Graftix never moves a task backwards.
  • Matched devices appear in Graftix Live with their status from ExtremeCloud IQ.
  • Installation photos and reports from ExtremeCloud IQ are added to the task's activity, marked "via Extreme Networks". Videos load the first time you play them.

Good to know

  • Site areas use their parent project's connection.

Graftix Live

Major release

Live device monitoring

Graftix Live brings live device status into Graftix, on the drawings you already use.

New

  • A Live page lists your sites with how many devices are online, degraded, offline or unknown.
  • Each site has a floor plan view showing its devices where their tasks are pinned, pulsing in their status colour. Tap one to open its details.
  • A small Graftix Live agent on the site network checks each camera, access point, switch, server or other device and reports back. You pair it to a site with a one-time code from the Probes tab.
  • Alarms when a device or probe goes offline, which you can acknowledge. If a probe drops, its devices' alarms are grouped under it, and Live in the sidebar shows how many alarms need attention.
  • Send to Graftix Live from any task pinned on a plan. The device name and IP address are filled in from the task, and the task then shows the device's live status with a link to it. You can unlink it at any time.
  • Add and edit devices by hand, and filter them by status and type.

Good to know

  • Live monitoring is an upgrade. If your organisation doesn't have it yet, the Live page says so.

Graftix

Update

Large plans process faster

Improved

  • Very large drawings, such as A0 sheets, now process reliably and several times faster.
  • While a plan is being prepared you see a percentage, on the plan card and in the viewer, so big drawings don't look stuck.
  • If a plan upload fails, the upload list now shows the reason.
  • Material pools are easier to use on a phone: long names and specifications wrap, and the buttons move below them.

Fixed

  • Requisitions showing the wrong Ordered and In compound figures.
  • Comments and photos that fail to save now tell you so, and deleted comments show who deleted them.
  • Pinned chat messages disappearing after a refresh for some organisations.

Graftix

Update

Faster start-up and a clearer activity feed

New

  • The activity feed shows who a task was reassigned from as well as who it went to.
  • The photo viewer shows who uploaded each photo.
  • Assignment notifications say whether a task was assigned or reassigned to you, and name the assignee.

Improved

  • Graftix opens faster, and if your session has ended it takes you straight to sign-in instead of a "Something went wrong" screen.
  • On phones, pull to refresh now only starts from the page header, so scrolling a list no longer refreshes it by accident.

Fixed

  • Comments and photos in the activity feed showing "Invalid Date" or missing their Before and After labels, and a crash when opening a task from its pin.
  • The back button taking you back to the sign-in page after signing in.

Graftix

Update

Connect your own AI assistant

Use the AI assistant you already have with your Graftix projects.

New

  • Connect an AI assistant that supports connectors to your Graftix account. It can look up your projects, tasks, programme, purchasing, attendance, RFIs, plans, safety records and financials, and create or update tasks, comments, blockers and RFIs for you.
  • The Dave AI tab in Settings, now open to everyone, shows the link to add to your assistant. From your profile you can connect a web assistant by signing in, see that it is connected and disconnect it, or create personal keys for desktop assistants and code editors, for one organisation or all of yours.

Improved

  • Dashboard: Tasks by Status uses your organisation's status colours, and Tasks by Trade shows each trade in its own colour.

Fixed

  • After a session expires, Graftix now goes straight to the sign-in screen with a short message instead of loading endlessly.
  • Attendance PDF exports, which could fail with an error, work again.

Good to know

  • A connected assistant works as you, with the same access you have in Graftix.
  • Security improvements.

Graftix Go

Update

Your organisation's labels and plan order

New

  • Plans in each folder are sorted by floor and number, and admins and project managers can drag them into their own order.
  • My Tasks shows how many tasks are at each status and of each type for the selected project.

Improved

  • Task types, statuses and pin colours follow your organisation's own settings.
  • The photo markup toolbar is larger and always fits on screen, and markups save reliably.
  • Offline downloads check your phone has space first, and explain clearly when something fails.

Fixed

  • Moving a pin no longer makes the plan jump or ends in an error.

Graftix

Major update

Resource planning in the Programme

See how much work is left, how many people it needs and when it is likely to finish.

New

  • Tasks have start and end dates, in Graftix and Graftix Go, so they show as bars on the Programme.
  • Resource estimates on tasks: set how long a task takes and how many people it needs, and Graftix works out the man-days. Set them for many tasks at once from the plan or the task list.
  • For admins and project managers: a Resources tab in the Programme shows headcount over time by task type or site area, each task's effort and float on a timeline, and totals for man-days and peak headcount. Zoom by day, week, month or quarter.
  • The projected view works out when work will finish with your team size, hours and breaks, skipping weekends and any restricted periods you choose. Set target dates to see whether you are on target and how many extra people would get you there, or ask Dave for a resource report.
  • A Projected switch on the Gantt marks tasks likely to finish late or early, shows where unscheduled work is likely to land, and gives a projected finish date.
  • On parent projects: expand a site area to see a bar for each task type, drag placeholder bars to schedule undated site areas, reorder them and filter by project tag. The projected view can be sorted by date or by labour, or show site areas back to back.

Improved

  • In project settings you can give every task without dates the project's start and end dates in one go.

Graftix Go

Update

Download whole projects for offline work

New

  • Available Offline, in the More menu: download a whole project, with its tasks, RFIs, site instructions and drawings, so it works with no signal. Each project shows whether it is up to date and how much space it uses, and you can refresh or remove one or several at once.
  • Changes you make with no signal are kept and sent when you are back online, with a badge showing how many are waiting.
  • Downloaded projects refresh by themselves when your signal returns.

Improved

  • If a drawing fails to download, the project card names it and offers Refresh now.
  • Zoom into plans up to 10 times.
  • Site instruction pins match the web app and are coloured by variation cost status.
  • Tapping Open Site on an area marker takes you to that site area's tasks.
  • Markups use the same colours and text sizes as the web app, and the select tool can move a markup.

Fixed

  • The app or the Available Offline screen could close unexpectedly on some iPhones.
  • Dropping a new pin no longer makes the plan jump.

Graftix

Update

Material call-offs and compound stock

Follow pooled materials from supplier call-off to the compound and out to each site area.

New

  • Record call-offs and arrivals against each material pool entry. Its bar shows what has gone to site areas, what is in the compound and what is called off but not yet arrived.
  • Each entry has a stock log you can filter by type and date, with totals and a CSV export.
  • The site kit list shows how much of a pooled item is called off, in the compound or unassigned. Pooled items go from Needed to On Site to Installed, and engineers can confirm them on site.
  • A new Stock Arrivals notification tells you when called-off materials you are waiting for reach the compound. You can turn it off in your notification settings.
  • On a parent project, the Requisitions tab lists kit across all its site areas, one row per item, with the planned quantity, the sites using it and how many units are at each stage.

Graftix

Update

Site instructions on plans, task type names and plant history

New

  • Tap a site instruction pin to open it right on the plan. Right-click or long-press it to open, move, duplicate, use as a stamp or delete it, and hover to see its number and subject.
  • Admins can rename the task types for their organisation in Settings → Task Statuses.
  • Plant & Equipment has a History tab showing every check-in, check-out, fault and off-hire, with who, when, which project and any notes.
  • Add photos when checking plant in or out, reporting a fault or requesting off-hire. Check-outs show how long the item was in use, with a running total.
  • You can turn off sharing your location on task photos in your profile.

Improved

  • Incident photos open full size, and group chats can have their own photo.

Fixed

  • People new to Graftix could get stuck at sign-in after accepting an invitation.
  • Fewer unexpected sign-outs, including on iPhone after Graftix has been in the background.
  • A project page or the plan viewer could occasionally show an error or freeze, for example when undoing a markup.

Graftix Go

First release

Graftix Go, in early access

Graftix Go is our new app for site engineers, with your tasks, plans and site paperwork in your pocket. It opened to early-access users on iPhone and iPad.

  • Safety: read and sign RAMS, report incidents and near misses with photos, and raise an SOS alert to your site team. The SOS Alert Log lets you acknowledge or resolve alerts.
  • Plant & Equipment: search and filter equipment, check items in and out, report faults and request off-hire with photos, and see each item's history. Managers can add and edit items.
  • Chat, Dave and notifications: team chat with photos, replies, pinned messages and group management; Dave with photo questions and history that follows you across devices; push notifications and an inbox.
  • Your profile: personal details, next of kin, qualifications with expiry warnings and card photos you can share, notification settings with quiet hours, a team directory and a profile photo. Switch organisation if you belong to more than one.

Good to know

Graftix

Update

Plan overlays, plan downloads and background reports

New

  • On a computer, overlay another drawing on the plan you are viewing, with a slider to fade between them. Graftix remembers your overlay for each plan.
  • Download a plan with its original file name, or select several plans and download them as one ZIP file.

Improved

  • Reports are created in the background, so you can keep working. You get a notification when a report is ready, and recipients get it by email.

Fixed

  • In the plan viewer, the task panel's close and delete buttons were hidden behind the header.

Graftix

Update

RFIs on plans and RFI reports

New

  • An RFI pinned to a drawing shows a preview of where it sits. Show on Plan zooms to the pin and opens the RFI.
  • A parent project's RFI page lists RFIs from all its site areas, with a site filter, and RFI numbers are now unique across those site areas.
  • Right-click or long-press an RFI pin to open, move, duplicate, use as a stamp or delete it.
  • Add attachments to an RFI from its panel.
  • Select several RFIs and export them as one PDF report, or export a single RFI from its panel. Each RFI gets its own page with the plan and pin, photos and a short history.

Fixed

  • RFI pins showed a white box, the RFI panel could open behind the plan, and moving an RFI pin did not work.

Graftix

Update

Project tags

New

  • Create coloured tags for your projects in Settings → Project Tags. Admins and project managers can add, rename, recolour and delete them.
  • Tag a project when you create it or from its settings.
  • Filter by tag on the Projects page, the dashboard (where the figures and charts follow the filter), the project switcher and a project's site areas, which you can now also search.

Improved

  • Settings tabs wrap onto more lines instead of scrolling sideways.

Graftix

Update

New

  • Log Past Session adds a session you forgot to record, with times, breaks, on site or remote, tasks and a note.

  • Delete your own sessions. Managers can delete any session in the organisation.
  • Attendance settings for your hours per day and overtime rate, with overtime highlighted in your history.

Graftix

Update

Faster start-up, image plans and material pool changes

New

  • Upload drawings as PNG or JPG files as well as PDF.
  • A sync button in the header saves your projects for offline use in one tap and shows when you last synced. It also syncs by itself when your saved data is more than four hours old.
  • If you were invited to someone else's organisation, you can now start your own from Settings with Create your own organisation.

Improved

  • Graftix opens much faster, especially on iPhone after being in the background. If loading takes too long, a button lets you sign in again.

  • Plans no longer flash grey while zooming, and stamp mode stays on when you switch between plans.
  • Photos are added to tasks straight away, without waiting for a location fix.

Fixed

  • Downloading a plan for offline use often failed. You now also get a warning when your device is short of space.
  • Archived site areas no longer appear on the Programme, and pool allocations show in a site area's Requisitions tab.

Good to know

  • Security improvements.

Graftix

Major update

The Vault

Keep a project's passwords, licence keys and recovery keys in one place, shown only to the people who need them.

New

  • Each project has a Vault for passwords, licence keys and recovery keys.
  • Stored values stay hidden until you enter your 6-digit Vault PIN.
  • Choose who can see each item. The person who added it, and admins, manage who has access.
  • Replace a stored value when it changes, after confirming your PIN.
  • On a task, save a custom field's value straight into the Vault. The field then shows a lock badge that links to the Vault, so the value is no longer on show. Use "Add to Vault" to add a new item from the task.
  • Set or change your Vault PIN from your Profile. For admins: reset a team member's PIN from the Team page.

Graftix

Update

RAID log

Track a project's risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies alongside its tasks.

New

  • Each project has a RAID log tab for risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies. Items are numbered by type, such as R-001 or I-004.
  • Score a risk by impact and likelihood to rate it from low to critical, and see every risk on a 3 by 3 heat map.
  • Give each item an owner, priority, status and due date, then filter and sort the list.
  • A RAID Log page in the sidebar shows open items across all your projects.
  • Link items to tasks: raise a RAID item from a task, see linked items in the task panel, and jump from an item to its task.

Graftix

Update

Projects globe and Dave across all your projects

New

  • A Globe view on the All Projects page shows your sites as pins on an interactive 3D globe. Nearby projects group into a numbered cluster when you zoom out; click a cluster to zoom in.
  • Hover a pin for the project's name, progress and status, and click it to open the project. Search by name or filter by status without leaving the globe.
  • Ask Dave about all your projects at once from the All Projects view: progress and overdue tasks, open blockers, who is on site today, incidents in the last 30 days, and contract values and budgets.
  • For admins and project managers: use Attach Existing to add an existing project to a site as a site area, or Detach from Parent Site in its settings to make it standalone again.

Fixed

  • Going back to a project could briefly show out-of-date figures.
  • Drop-down lists hidden behind the Create Task at Pin window.

Graftix

Update

Smarter plan order and quicker plan navigation

New

  • Plans sort themselves in a sensible order: basements, ground, first and upper floors, then roof, then by drawing number. Use Reorder on a project's plans to set your own order. Next, previous and swipe follow it.
  • Picking a task from the task list on a plan now takes you straight to its pin.
  • Programme: on campus projects, copy the affected sites from one restricted access period and paste them onto others in one click.

Improved

  • Pin take-off: stamping a pin adds to the existing product line, so each product appears once with the right total.
  • Saving plans for offline use is more reliable.
  • Renamed tasks and projects update everywhere straight away, and title changes now appear in the task's activity feed.

Fixed

  • Archived projects could not be deleted.
  • Set Scale and other plan viewer windows opening behind the plan, and missing thumbnails on plan cards for very large drawings.

Graftix

Update

Help Centre and app icon badges

New

  • A Help & Documents Centre, opened from the Help button at the foot of the sidebar: more than 60 illustrated articles covering every part of Graftix, with a searchable contents list and print-friendly pages. The Privacy Notice, Terms and Conditions and Fair Use Policy are there too.
  • With Graftix installed on your phone's home screen, the app icon shows a badge for unread notifications and chat messages. It updates even when the app is closed and clears as soon as you have read them.
  • When an update is ready, a banner offers "Reload now" instead of the app reloading on its own.

Fixed

  • The installed app on iPhone getting stuck on a loading screen, or asking you to sign in again, after time in the background. If loading ever takes too long, you now get a Reload option.
  • Being signed out unexpectedly after a period of inactivity.

Good to know

  • When a free trial ends, Graftix switches to read-only. You can still open and search everything, and a banner shows how to upgrade. Similar banners appear if a payment fails or a subscription ends.

Graftix

Update

Bulk task updates

Change many tasks at once, from a plan, the Task Register or the Kanban board.

New

  • On a plan, draw a box around task pins to select them together. Selected pins get a ring, and a bar shows how many you have picked.
  • Update status, priority, type, scope, phase, phase progress or assignee for every selected task in one go, or delete them together. Only the fields you change are updated.
  • In the Task Register, tick the tasks you want. On the Kanban board and in the list, Shift+click them. Then use Update Status in the same way.
  • Press Escape to clear a selection on a plan.

Improved

  • Bulk changes are recorded in each task's history, just like single edits.

Update

Better offline working on site

Graftix copes much better with weak or no signal on site.

New

  • Save a plan for offline use from the plan viewer toolbar. You can watch the progress, and the button shows when the plan is available offline or only partly saved.
  • If changes you made offline could not be saved, a red banner tells you. Open it to see what failed, then retry or dismiss.

Improved

  • On very weak signal Graftix now switches to offline mode straight away instead of waiting, and shows the offline banner.
  • Pages you have opened recently, such as tasks, RFIs, site instructions, blockers, purchase orders and eForms, stay available offline for up to a day.
  • Changes you make while offline now sync reliably when you are back online.

Fixed

  • The app could reload repeatedly after an update, or return to the sign-in page after signing in on some browsers.

Materials on pins and stamp mode

Record exactly what goes in at each pin, and place repeat items in seconds.

New

  • A Materials section on every task. Admins and project managers add materials from the project's requisitions, from the material pool, or by typing a name, each with a quantity. Engineers can tick items off as installed.
  • Typed materials suggest products from your technical submittals and the project's take-offs, and are added to a draft take-off so purchasing can see them. Adding the same item again increases its quantity.
  • Technical submittals for the materials you add are attached to the task automatically. Material pool entries can now carry a technical submittal too.
  • For admins and project managers: stamp mode. Choose a pinned task as a stamp, then click the plan to place copies with the same details, custom fields, technical submittals and materials. Pool stock is checked as you go.
  • On phones, press and hold a pin to open its menu. Admins and project managers can duplicate a task, and the copy is placed just beside the original.

Improved

  • Edit a task's title straight from the task panel.
  • Change a material's quantity in place, without removing and re-adding it.
  • A Latest plan card on the project overview takes you back to the last plan you viewed.
  • Material pool allocations are grouped by Site Area, and each pool entry shows how much is left.

Fixed

  • Removing a material or deleting a task now returns its quantity to the material pool and tidies up the draft take-off.
  • Moving a pin on a phone no longer hides the plan behind the task panel.

Graftix

Update

Asset Register

New

  • A new Asset Register under Compliance lists every item pinned on a project's plans, with its drawing, product, custom fields, 2nd fix date, completed date and technical submittal.
  • On a campus project, see every Site Area together or filter to one.
  • Sort any column and export the register to CSV or PDF.

Good to know

  • The 2nd fix date is recorded automatically the first time a task moves to 2nd Fix.

Update

Team roles, invitations and remote check-in

New

  • For admins: change a team member's role from the Team page, including people who have not accepted their invitation yet. The change applies straight away.
  • For admins: a Project assignments card on each member's profile to add or remove their projects. Adding someone to a campus project adds them to all its Site Areas, and removing them asks before taking them off every area.
  • Invitations from other organisations now show up in Graftix: a notification, a banner on your dashboard, a count in the sidebar and a page to accept or decline. The person who invited you is told either way, and admins can re-send an invitation that has expired.
  • Check in as On site or Remote. Attendance exports include the location, managers see on site and remote counts, and check-out notes appear as a summary in attendance analytics.
  • Everyone can now open Organisation settings to view them, including the full team list.

Improved

  • The On site now card is now Active now, and shows who is on site, remote or on a break.
  • Invitation emails work for people who do not have an account yet, with a choice to create one or sign in.

Fixed

  • Pending invitations show on the Team page and can be removed, contact cards show the right role, and accepted invitations no longer show as pending.
  • Tapping an invitation notification in the Home Screen app no longer gets stuck.

Update

New sign-in, live notices and fixes

New

  • A new sign-in and sign-up page.
  • See a short notice when a teammate adds, changes or deletes a task, adds or releases a blocker, or archives a project.
  • Move the Dave button to any corner of the screen by pressing and holding it. It stays where you put it.

Improved

  • You stay signed in reliably, including when you reopen the Home Screen app on iPhone after a while.
  • Live updates reconnect as soon as you are back online and refresh anything you missed.
  • Graftix emails have a new branded design with clearer subject lines, and board reports are addressed to each director by name.
  • On phones the menu scrolls properly and has a close button, and the project switcher opens as a list inside it. Choosing a project takes you straight to it.
  • Security improvements.

Fixed

  • Task status colours now match everywhere, including badges, reports and plan pins.
  • Deleting a task on a phone no longer freezes the screen, and the Task Register's Last updated column now shows a date.
  • Send message on a profile opens the conversation, typing indicators clear promptly, and pasting several links into a site instruction adds them all.
  • A take-off stays open when you refresh, and the Add supplier and Create certificate buttons are always where you expect them.

Update

Programme restricted periods and site schedules

New

  • Mark restricted access periods on a programme, such as no access, bank holidays, term time or events. They appear as shaded bands across the timeline, in the overview strip and in exported images.
  • On a campus project, restricted periods flow down to its Site Areas, where they show as inherited. You can choose which Site Areas a period applies to.
  • A campus programme shows a bar for each Site Area, from the area's project dates or, where none are set, an estimate from its tasks. Admins and project managers can drag the ends of a bar to change the dates.
  • A Project dates bar at the top of each programme shows the contracted window.
  • Ask Dave about a project's programme, including its restricted periods.

Fixed

  • Project start and end dates now save correctly.
  • Milestones can be edited and deleted again, and clicking a milestone no longer creates extra ones.

Update

One view across your Site Areas

New

  • A campus project's overview adds up tasks, progress, blockers, value at risk and more across all its Site Areas. Each area shows its completion with open, in progress and done counts.
  • Recent activity and tasks by trade cover every Site Area, and name the site each task is from.
  • Project Tasks on a campus project shows tasks from every Site Area, with a per-site summary and a filter to focus on one or more sites. Cards and the register show which site each task belongs to.
  • Dave understands campus projects. Ask how the whole campus is doing, compare sites, or ask about attendance, plant, incidents, RAMS, certificates, RFIs and site instructions across all sites. Site comparisons appear as cards with progress bars.

Improved

  • The dashboard includes Site Area tasks when a campus project is selected, and engineers on a campus project can see the tasks in its Site Areas.
  • The project switcher groups each campus with its Site Areas beneath it, with your current campus at the top.
  • Area portal pins are coloured by the linked project's status, scale with zoom, and show a task completion bar.

Fixed

  • Area portal Edit, Delete and Open buttons now work on desktop.

Graftix

Update

Push notifications on computer and phone

New

  • Get Graftix notifications on your computer or phone even when Graftix is not open. Turn them on from the prompt when you first open Graftix, or from your Profile.
  • On iPhone and iPad, Graftix shows you how to add it to your Home Screen, which is needed for notifications there.
  • Your Profile lists the devices receiving your notifications, with a Forget all option to start again.

Fixed

  • Turning on notifications on iPhone is far more reliable, and the button no longer gets stuck.

Graftix

Update

Stores call-offs, installed status and material pools

New

  • Adding an item to a take-off opens a full form: product name, part code, quantity, unit, unit price, notes and technical submittal.
  • For admins and project managers: call off a take-off line from stores. This creates a requisition linked to that line.
  • Each take-off line shows how much is covered from stores, by purchase order and still needed. Converting to a purchase order orders only what is still needed and adds matching requisitions.
  • Requisitions show where each item came from (Direct, Stores, Via PO, MRF or Pool), with a source filter. Click the source to jump to its take-off.
  • A new Installed status. Engineers can mark items on site as installed, and the list shows who installed them.
  • Material Pool for campus projects: hold materials at the campus level and allocate them to Site Areas. Each entry shows how much is allocated, on site and installed, and Site Areas can see what is available to them.

Fixed

  • Items now appear correctly when adding them to a purchase order.

Graftix

Major update

Programme

Plan and track your project timeline in a new Programme view built from your tasks.

New

  • A Programme for every project, in the sidebar and on the project page. Tasks with start and end dates appear as bars, and tasks with only a due date appear as diamonds. Zoom by day, week, month or quarter, group by type or by assignee, and jump to today.
  • Drag bars to move or resize them, and drag unscheduled tasks from the side drawer onto the timeline to give them dates. Dragging works by touch on phones and tablets too.
  • Link tasks so one starts after another, with optional lag days. Arrows show the links, the critical path is highlighted, and you can manage links from the task panel.
  • Add milestones and drag them to new dates.
  • Save a baseline and show it behind the live bars to see what has moved. Choose between saved baselines.
  • Export what you can see as an image.
  • A Programme snapshot on the project overview shows the date span, the next milestone, scheduled and unscheduled tasks, and milestones due in the next 30 days.

Major update

Site Areas and area portals

Split a large site or campus into Site Areas, and move between them from a site-wide drawing.

New

  • For admins and project managers: add Site Areas, each with a name and reference, under a project. Each area has its own tasks, plans and team, and takes the client and address from its parent.
  • The parent project's overview lists its Site Areas with status, open tasks, blockers and phase progress. Areas show their parent in the projects list, in the project switcher and at the top of the page.
  • Area portals: admins and project managers drop a portal on a site-wide drawing and link it to another project. Tap it to see open tasks and blockers, then go to its plan or project.
  • Show or hide portals from the plan legend, and edit or remove them from the pin menu.
  • Ask Dave about a project's Site Areas.

Fixed

  • Open task counts no longer include rejected tasks.
  • You now see a clear error message instead of a blank screen if a page fails to load.

Graftix

Update

Installation phases, custom statuses and smarter search

New

  • Give any task an installation phase (Design, Containment, 1st Fix, 2nd Fix, Testing or Commissioning) with an optional progress percentage. Phases show on Kanban cards, lists and the Task Register, with filtering, sorting and CSV export, and a phase breakdown on the project overview.
  • For admins: rename the six task statuses, choose their colours, and decide which appear as Kanban columns and in what order, in Organisation settings → Task Statuses. Your labels and colours are used everywhere, including plan pins and reports.
  • Smarter task search looks through titles, descriptions, reference numbers and custom field values, and understands searches like "CCTV commissioning", "2nd fix" or a colleague's name. The best matches come first.
  • Ask Dave about a specific task, such as its IP address, serial number or any custom field, or about markups on your plans. Dave now replaces the old Project Assistant.

Improved

  • Edit or delete your own task comments, and attach photos to comments from a computer. Admins and project managers can remove comments, and edited or removed comments are clearly marked.
  • A project's Tasks tab now has search and a status filter, and opens any task with a tap.
  • Trade is now called Scope, with Intruder Alarm System added. Tasks & Snags is now Project Tasks, unassigned tasks show Full Team, and the description field is now Description & Site Location.

Graftix

Update

Simpler navigation and team fixes

Improved

  • When a project is selected, its project page is your overview, with recent activity, tasks by trade and who is on site now. Reports now sit under Compliance, and Billing and Dave usage are in Organisation settings.
  • For admins and directors: a Financials shortcut in the sidebar and a portfolio summary on the dashboard.
  • A new app icon, a branded loading screen and the Graftix logo on the organisation picker. The sidebar logo is now easy to read in light mode.
  • Project and plan web addresses have a new format. Older links and bookmarks still work.
  • Security improvements.

Fixed

  • Engineers could not see tasks, the task register, certificates or incidents on projects they were assigned to.
  • People removed from your organisation can be invited again, and no longer appear on project Team tabs.
  • Supervisors and managers can now see colleagues' full profiles on shared projects, and others see a clear Access denied message. Profiles of people invited from other organisations now open.
  • Dave no longer sits behind the plan viewer on phones or desktop.

Graftix

Update

Clearer pins and sharper plans

New

  • Task pins show their status as the fill colour, their installation phase as a coloured ring, and an icon for their scope.
  • On plans with more than one scope, filter chips let you fade out the scopes you are not working on. Show All brings them back.
  • Hover over a pin on a computer to see its number, title and phase.
  • Click a task in Project Tasks, the Task Register, the dashboard or a project overview to jump to its pin, zoomed in with the task open.

Improved

  • Plans are much sharper when zoomed out, and all existing plans have been re-processed at higher quality.
  • Pins are larger and resize as you zoom, so they stay readable without covering the drawing.
  • After dropping a pin and creating a task, the new task opens straight away.
  • The plans list loads faster, and you can no longer zoom out so far that the plan becomes tiny.

Fixed

  • The comment menu no longer opens behind the task panel on the plan viewer.

Graftix

Update

Material requests from site and live updates

New

  • For engineers and supervisors: request materials from the Requisitions tab in Purchasing. Describe what you need and the site manager reviews and orders it.
  • Admins and project managers on that project get an in-app, push and email notification for each new material request. There is a new Material Requests notification setting.
  • While you are in Purchasing, a short notice tells you when a teammate changes a take-off or purchase order.

Improved

  • More of Graftix updates live without a refresh: task comments, photos and custom fields, RFIs, site instructions, the kit register, financials, take-offs, purchase orders and suppliers.
  • Incident reports and SOS alerts linked to a project now notify the people on that project rather than the whole organisation. Incident reports also arrive by email.
  • Everyone involved is notified when an SOS alert is acknowledged, resolved or marked as a false alarm.

Major update

Project financials

Track budget, cost and forecast on every project, and see your whole portfolio in one place.

New

  • A Financials tab on each project. Set the contract value and working budget, then split the budget by cost code: materials, labour, subcontract, plant, overhead and other.
  • Budget against actual for each cost code, with a forecast final cost and a red, amber or green status. Enter a forecast to complete for each code, and your projected margin follows it.
  • Variations, labour cost from attendance and hourly cost rates, and one-off cost entries all feed into the picture.
  • For admins and directors: a Portfolio Financials page with headline figures, including forecast final cost, and a table you can sort by any column.
  • For admins: set an hourly cost rate on each team member's profile.

Graftix

Major update

Task register, custom fields and Tech Subs

Keep product data sheets in one place, add your own details to tasks, and see a whole project's tasks as a spreadsheet.

New

  • Custom fields on tasks: add up to 10 name and value pairs to any task, such as a room number or circuit reference. Field names are suggested from common ones and from names your organisation has used before.
  • A Register view on the Tasks page when a project is selected: every task in one table, with your custom fields as extra columns. Sort by any column, keep your filters, and export to CSV.
  • Tech Subs: your organisation's library of product data sheets, with product name, manufacturer, model, part number and category. Search, preview PDFs and images, or download. Admins and project managers add and remove entries.
  • Attach Tech Subs to tasks and to take-off items. The Register shows how many specs each task has, and purchase order PDFs note the linked spec on each line.

Improved

  • Organisation settings lists every organisation you belong to with its subscription status, and is where you start a new organisation of your own. Only the organisation owner can change the company profile and logo, and everyone else is told who to ask.
  • A tidier sidebar: the Graftix wordmark at the top, a larger organisation name, and the organisation switcher above the project switcher. Organisation settings now fits on phones.

Fixed

  • Deleting a task now tells you if something went wrong, instead of failing silently.

Graftix

Major update

Sharper plans and an AI takeoff you teach

Plans now open as high-resolution drawings, and Dave counts symbols from examples you pick.

New

  • Teach Dave your symbols: Dave reads the legend, you check the list, then draw a box around one example of each symbol on the drawing. Dave then finds every match on the plan.
  • Review the count on the drawing before you save it. Each find is a coloured dot: remove the wrong ones, tap the plan to add any Dave missed, then confirm and save.
  • A Symbol Library for your organisation: admins and project managers save symbols once they are taught, and anyone can reuse them on other drawings. Admins and project managers rename or remove them from the Plans tab.

Improved

  • Plans are prepared in high resolution after upload, so fine linework and small text stay sharp when you zoom right in. Plan cards show while a drawing is being prepared, and admins and project managers can retry one that failed.
  • Smoother zooming without grey or white flashes, and the parts of a plan you have already viewed stay available offline.
  • On phones the takeoff panel can be dragged to resize, and it only opens when you tap Takeoff. Back from a plan now returns you to the project's Plans tab.

Fixed

  • Plans that have had a takeoff can be deleted again.

Graftix

Major update

RFIs, site instructions and variations

New

  • RFIs: raise a request for information with a subject, description, who it is for, priority and a response due date. RFIs are numbered for you (RFI-001 and so on), can be searched and filtered, and overdue ones stand out. Admins and project managers record the response.
  • Pin an RFI to a drawing: tap the plan and choose a task or snag, or an RFI. RFI pins change colour once answered or closed, and the sidebar shows how many are still open.
  • Site instructions and variations: log each instruction with who gave it, their company, the date and how it was received. Verbal instructions are flagged so you can get them confirmed in writing. Link an instruction to an RFI, pin it to a plan, and let anyone on the project add notes and evidence.
  • For variations, record the cost status, estimated and agreed value and any time impact. A Value at Risk total shows variations still to be agreed or in dispute, on the Variations tab and the project page.
  • Ask Dave about a project's RFIs, site instructions, variations, value at risk and purchase orders.

Improved

  • Chat has moved to a button at the top of every page, with a live unread count. Header buttons are larger and easier to tap on phones.

Graftix

Major update

Purchasing

Plan, order and track materials for each project, from take-off to delivery on site.

New

  • A Purchasing area in each project, with Requisitions, Take-offs, Purchase Orders and Suppliers.
  • Requisitions: the project's materials list, with specification, category, quantities, supplier, expected delivery and a status from Needed to On site. Engineers confirm delivery on site with a note and photos, or flag a problem. Managers can update many items at once or add them to a purchase order.
  • Take-offs: list what the job needs. Engineers call items off, and managers mark them ordered with an expected delivery date, then confirm delivery with optional photos and a delivery note that anyone can look back on.
  • Turn a take-off into purchase orders, one per supplier, confirming prices as you go. Items already on a purchase order are shown and cannot be ordered twice.
  • Purchase orders are numbered and produced as a PDF with your logo. Send one to the supplier by email with the PDF attached, then mark it received or cancel it. Admins and project managers can set the PO number prefix and the next number.
  • A shared supplier directory with contact name, email, phone and address. Add a new supplier while you are ordering.

Fixed

  • Purchase order PDFs with multi-line addresses or notes now open and send correctly.

Graftix

Major update

Dave, your AI assistant, and RAMS with Dave

New

  • Dave is on every page: tap the Dave button to ask about UK regulations and standards, site practice or how to do something in Graftix. On phones Dave opens full screen.
  • With a project selected, Dave answers from your live project data: tasks and what is overdue, blockers, who is on site today, plant, recent incidents, RAMS, the project team and certificates due to expire.
  • Attach a photo to your question and Dave will look at it.
  • Generate RAMS with Dave: describe the work, the site and its risks, and Dave drafts the hazards, taking recent incidents and near misses into account. Review, re-score and edit them, then Dave writes the method statement: work sequence, PPE, permits, emergency procedure and control measures, all editable.
  • Dave warns if you do not hold a qualification the work calls for, such as IPAF for a MEWP. Signing produces a RAMS PDF with an audit reference and a scan-to-verify code, saved to your RAMS library.

Improved

  • Dave's answers are laid out with headings and lists, and your conversation stays put as you move around the app.

Good to know

  • RAMS drafted with Dave are clearly marked as AI-assisted and must be checked by a competent person. If Dave cannot draft a section, you can carry on from a blank template.

Graftix

Major update

Plant Track and site attendance

New

  • Plant Track: a register of plant and access equipment on each project, from scissor lifts and cherry pickers to ladders, mobile scaffold towers and 110V transformers, plus your own types. Each item has photos with captions and a full timeline.
  • Check equipment in and out, report a fault, or request an off-hire. Checking in to a MEWP warns you if your IPAF card is missing or out of date, and asks you to acknowledge before you carry on.
  • For managers: days on site and top users for each item, an archive, a PDF report per item with your logo, and a reconcile export as CSV or PDF.
  • Link an incident to a piece of equipment and record whether it was damaged, isolated or needs to go off hire. Damaged or isolated equipment is marked faulty.
  • Site attendance: check in and out of site, take breaks, watch a live timer and tag the tasks you worked on. Edit your notes afterwards and export your own hours as CSV or PDF.
  • Set a site boundary for each project on a map in the project's settings. Graftix reminds people to check in when they arrive and to check out when they leave. Managers see who is on site now, also on the dashboard, with analytics, a weekly hours chart and CSV or PDF export.

Good to know

  • For site reminders, your location is only checked when you open the app, and you can turn the reminders off in your notification settings.

Fixed

  • Password reset emails now open the right page.

Graftix

Major update

Reports and prolongation reports

New

  • For admins and project managers: a report builder for each project. Choose tasks by status, trade, assignee, plan and date range, set the order, then download a detailed PDF, a summary PDF or a CSV, or send it by email.
  • Detailed reports show each task with its details, status, photos, comments and blockers, and a close-up of the plan showing where the pin is. Reports carry your company logo and page numbers.
  • Save a report to run again, with one-tap download from the list. Saved reports are private to the person who made them.
  • Prolongation reports: from a project's Blockers tab, produce a delay report PDF for a date range, with a claim reference, who prepared it, and options for task references, resolution notes, a running timeline and grouping by trade. Durations allow for bank holidays in England and Wales.

Improved

  • Tasks are numbered within each project (#1, #2 and so on) in task lists, the task panel, the plan's task list and the dashboard.
  • Archived projects stay out of project lists, the project switcher, the dashboard and the all-projects task view unless you choose Archived. A project must be archived before it can be deleted.
  • The organisation owner always appears in the Team list, and removing someone explains what happens to your bill.

Update

Task photos, plan pins and eForms for outside signers

New

  • Send an eForm to someone without a Graftix account, such as a client or subcontractor, by name, email and company. They fill it in and sign from a link, and you get an email when they finish. Outside signers are marked External.
  • Add several photos to a task at once. Each photo shows when and where it was taken, with a small map and a link to open the location in maps.
  • Mark up a task photo with pen, highlighter, boxes, circles, arrows and text in seven colours, with undo. The marked-up copy is saved to the task.
  • For admins and project managers: right-click a task pin on a plan to open, move or delete the task. To move a pin, choose Move pin and click where it should go.

Fixed

  • Task pins open reliably when you click or tap them, even with an annotation tool selected.
  • The installed app no longer opens to a blank screen when you are offline.
  • eForm templates display again in the library and form builder. Text typed by outside signers stays visible in dark mode, and they can choose photos from their gallery.
  • Task photos open in front of the task panel on phones.

Update

Teams, organisations and billing

New

  • Invite people by email. Invites show as pending until accepted and can be resent, and people with project-based roles can be added to projects as part of the invite.
  • Organisation settings: your company profile and logo, which also appears in the sidebar, your subscription and seats, and transfer of ownership.
  • Belong to more than one organisation with a different role in each, for example a subcontractor working for several contractors. Switch organisation from the sidebar, or pick one when you sign in.
  • A project switcher in the sidebar. Pick a project and Tasks, RAMS, Incidents, Certificates and the dashboard show just that project. Each project also gets its own channel in Chat for everyone on it.
  • For admins and project managers: a Billing page with your plan, status, trial end, next renewal, a breakdown of seats and your invoice history with PDF downloads, plus a link to manage billing details.

Improved

  • Admins and project managers see every project. Engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and client viewers see the projects they have been added to.
  • Admins can remove someone from the organisation, and the New Project button only shows for people who can create projects.

Fixed

  • New projects appear straight away, and invite emails open the right page.

  • A notification bell with a list of recent notifications. Mark one or all as read.
  • Choose which notifications you get, and set quiet hours in your time zone. No pushes are sent during quiet hours, and in-app notifications still arrive.
  • Email notifications for SOS alerts, task assignments and status changes, blockers and RAMS assignments, with one switch on your profile to turn them off.
  • For admins: set notification defaults for your organisation, and lock any you want everyone to keep.
  • A welcome email when you sign up, and admins hear by email when someone new joins.

Improved

  • Headers, menus and messages sit clear of the notch and home bar on iPhone.

  • Plan annotations are easier on phones: drag a box to select several, press and hold to pick one up and move it, and use bigger handles to resize.

Fixed

  • The plan viewer no longer crashes in desktop Chrome or on very large drawings.
  • Deleting several selected annotations at once works again.
  • Security improvements.

New

  • eForms template library: upload PDF or image forms, sort them into folders and categories, and search.
  • Form builder: place fields on any page of the form, including text, date, tick box, dropdown, signature and photo fields. Drag and resize them and mark which are required.
  • Send a form to one or more people, linked to a project with a due date if you like. They fill it in, save progress, sign by typing or drawing, and submit. People are notified when a form is sent to them.
  • My Forms shows what is waiting for you. For managers, All Forms tracks every form with filters and progress, shows the completed document and every answer side by side, and lets you cancel or reopen a form.
  • A Plans tab in each project: folders, multiple uploads, thumbnails, and bulk rename and move.
  • Team and Settings tabs in each project: add people from your organisation and set their project role, edit project details, and change the project status from the header. Archive a project, or delete it if you are an admin.

Update

Plan folders, bulk upload and a better Tasks page

New

  • Upload as many drawings as you like in one go. Name each one, set the floor, discipline and folder for the batch, and watch the progress of every file.
  • Organise drawings into folders in the project's Plans tab, with a thumbnail of each drawing. Select several drawings to move, rename or delete them together.
  • Swipe in from the edge of the screen to open the next or previous drawing in the same folder, or use the arrows on desktop. A counter shows where you are, such as 3 / 12.

Improved

  • Drawings stay sharp however far you zoom in, and drawings you have opened before load faster.
  • On the Tasks page, click any task on the board or in the list to open its details, and filter tasks by project.
  • The plan viewer now opens ready to pan and zoom, with Select one tap away when you want to pick a markup.

Fixed

  • The menu on phones no longer opens behind the drawing, and the plan viewer toolbar stays in view on desktop.

Graftix

Major update

Mark up your drawings

The plan viewer now has a full set of markup tools that work with a mouse or your finger, on desktop, tablet and phone.

New

  • Draw freehand or highlight, and add lines, arrows, multi-lines, revision clouds, rectangles, ellipses, triangles and polygons, outlined or filled, in any colour and line width.
  • Symbol library: stamp any of 60 built-in symbols for electrical, fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting, data cabling and audio visual, then resize them on the drawing. Admins and project managers can upload your own symbols too.
  • Text boxes with font size, bold, italic, underline and a background colour, plus link markers that open another drawing, a document link or a task photo.
  • Measure: admins and project managers set the drawing's scale from one known distance, then anyone can measure lengths, multi-point runs with a running total at each point, and areas. The scale, such as 1:50, is shown on the drawing.
  • Numbered route: mark a cable route as a dot-to-dot line of numbered points.

Improved

  • A compact toolbar groups the tools into Draw, Lines, Shapes, Symbols, Text & links and Measure.
  • Select a markup to move, recolour or delete it. Use the eraser, undo, copy and paste, or select several markups at once (drag a box on desktop, long-press on a phone or tablet) and delete them together.
  • Ask the AI project assistant about the drawing you are viewing, including its measurements, symbols, text notes and links.

Graftix

Major update

AI takeoff and an AI project assistant

Two new AI tools: count the symbols on a drawing in seconds, and ask questions about your project in plain English.

New

  • AI takeoff: open a drawing page that has a legend and press Analyse. Graftix reads the legend, then counts each symbol type across the drawing, leaving the legend itself out of the count.
  • The takeoff report lists every legend symbol with its quantity and a total. Where a symbol is unclear, it adds a note rather than guessing.
  • Run the takeoff again whenever you like. Everyone on the project sees the latest report straight away.
  • AI project assistant: ask about a project from the project page, or press Ask AI in the plan viewer. It knows the project's tasks, blockers, drawings, takeoff counts and team, and in the plan viewer it also knows which drawing and page you are on.
  • When you open the assistant it starts with a quick health check of the project: progress, active blockers and overdue tasks. Suggested questions, such as "Show overdue tasks", help you get going.

Good to know

  • AI takeoff and the project assistant need an internet connection.

Graftix

Major update

Chat, SOS alerts, RAMS and incident reporting

Talk to your team and keep everyone safe on site, without leaving Graftix.

New

  • Communication: private and group chats with photos, videos and files, replies, edits, read receipts and pinned messages. Rename a group, add or remove people, or message anyone straight from their profile. Type a task's reference to share it in a chat.
  • Share your location as a pin, or share it live for a set time so your team can follow you on a map.
  • SOS: hold the SOS button at the top of the screen to send an emergency alert to your whole team, with the type of emergency and your location. Team members can acknowledge it, and every alert is kept in the SOS log with its status.
  • RAMS: upload risk assessments and method statements, keep every version, assign them to people with a due date, and collect each person's sign-off.
  • Incidents and near misses: report what happened, how serious it was, any injuries, witnesses and actions taken, with photos, videos or documents attached. Managers see every report and update its status, and everyone can see the reports they have made.

Good to know

  • SOS relies on a data connection and does not replace calling the emergency services.

Graftix

Update

Work offline, track blockers and keep profiles up to date

New

  • Work offline: the projects, drawings and tasks you have opened stay available with no signal. Changes you make are saved on your device and sync automatically when you are back online, and a banner shows when you are offline and how many changes are waiting.
  • Blockers: record what is stopping a task and when it started and ended. Each project shows its active blockers, blocked tasks and total time lost, ready to support delay and prolongation claims.
  • Profiles: keep your personal and employment details, next of kin and qualifications, such as ECS/CSCS, IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS, SMSTS and first aid, with a copy of each card and its expiry date. The Team page highlights ECS/CSCS cards that are about to expire or have expired.

Improved

  • Task details now bring comments, photos and changes together in one activity feed. Mention a colleague with @, and change status, priority, assignee or due date in place.
  • You are asked to confirm before deleting a task, a photo or a blocker.

Fixed

  • Photos now show correctly after upload, the due date picker works on phones, and task details no longer appear blank on some phones.
  • Menus and dialogs no longer hide behind the drawing, the whole drawing fits the screen when it opens, and when your session ends you go straight back to sign in.

Graftix

Major release

The first release of Graftix

Graftix is here: one place to run your projects, drawings and site tasks, in the office and on site.

New

  • Projects: keep each job's client, site address, dates and contract value together, and track it from tender through snagging, commissioning and handover to complete.
  • Plans: upload your drawings, including multi-page PDFs, and open them in the plan viewer with smooth pinch-to-zoom and panning on a phone, tablet or computer. Drop a pin on a drawing to raise a task or snag exactly where the work is.
  • Tasks: give each task or snag a type, trade, floor, priority, assignee and due date, then add comments and before and after photos and see its full history. View every task as a board or a list, filtered by status and trade.
  • Certificates: keep a register of each project's certificates, from EIC, EICR and minor works to fire alarm, emergency lighting, intruder alarm, access control and CCTV commissioning, marked as draft, issued, superseded or expired.
  • A dashboard showing active projects, open snags, certificates due to expire and recent tasks.
  • For admins: set up your organisation when you first sign in, then add your team with roles such as project manager, engineer, supervisor and subcontractor.

Good to know

  • Changes made by anyone on your team appear straight away, with no need to refresh.
  • Add Graftix to your phone's home screen to open it like an app. Light and dark themes are both available.
